Kyle Allen is a solid #3 QB. He has a lot of starting experience and if he has to fill in the moment won't be to big for him. The Steelers will now probably sign an UDFA for the fourth camp arm.

 

I love this move as it gives them options at the trade deadline. Now they can move Wilson at the trade deadline if Fields turns out to be exactly what Arthur Smith wants to build a team around.

I see Russell as being QB 1 from the start, because he is auditioning for his next job from Day 1.

You did hear that the Steelers at the owners meeting are pushing the NFL to extend the trade window, Coincidence?

 

I like the signing of Allen, it probably means they won't waste a mid round pick on a QB like Rattler .

These QB pickups are much better than the heap of rubbish that we had last season. Trubisky is terrible. MR will be a career back up and Pickett is a head case.

 

Maybe but at least the FO is addressing the issue instead of standing pat.

I hate to go against @Voice of Reason , btw a cool name, but we might have worse qbs if they continue their awful stats.

 

Weed is legal in NY. Anybody who thinks Mitch Trubisky is an NFL QB is certainly smoking a bunch of it.

Personally I want players who want to win and are willing to fight for it

 

I’m not saying any of these QBs will be the answer, but Wilson had 26 TDs and 8 INTs…. Those stats are not awful.
