I'm hoping they are wrong about R.Wilson. At least we have actually seen Him be good.

Hate to be a debbie downer or a realist, Russ has been chit since he threw int to end SB game. But these two are still better than KFP. Not much tho

 

Btw, Mitch won a playoff game at Chicago, did Fields win one, oh thats right he was 10-28.

 

Blast, what i have seen of Fields not impressed. No 4th qtr highlights. I hope a change of scenery helps, but seriously if we are thinking coach T is a qb whisper, we are in trouble.
You heard we picked up Kyle Allen from Buffalo? Does this mean we are not going to draft a qb in 4 rd ?
So Mitch sucked so bad here, yet Bills didn’t hesitate to pick him up, same with KFP, Eagles didn’t hesitate. Is something amiss in Steelers org right now?

 

In the last few years too. NFL is ruining these young qbs. Throwing them right into fire.

 

Fields isn't the projected starter next season, nobody said he's a finished product, players can improve and the Steelers OL is better than the Bears that will help him.

 

I am being very disgruntled about our qb situation today. Blame it on Rich Eisen,, LOL

This coming from a guy who thinks Rattler should be the Steelers future QB .

 

Lol and guess what? 3 years into his career and Fields got traded for a can of dip.

 

And yet most people seem to think they upgraded the QB room with Fields and Wilson .

 

I don't think Fields will ever improve to a starter level QB. After 40 games, his completion percentage is just 60%. That is very difficult for a QB to significantly improve, especially after having already played 3 seasons.

Players do improve and lately it is former Steelers when they go to another team! This never happened when i was growing up. Once the Steelers released a player they didnt have the same success. What is going on here?

Before 2023 the Bears didn't have a #1 WR, with the Steelers he will have better weapons and OL.
