I went looking for news about Sutton and came across a story about him suffering blackouts when he was in college. It became public when it happened during a game, but he said that it happened frequently. Maybe this is a CTE thing, which is just another reason it likely won't end well.

Is anyone else worried about him? I know what he is accused of is bad, but it's not murder or child molesting. He's facing arrest and just lost his job. He hasn't been heard from in three days, no one can contact him. I'm just hoping he's okay.

 

just glad he's not here anymore. we don't need that kind of press to be honest. we have had our share.

We should all be capable of compassion and hope he is okay even if he did do something terrible. Given the story about him having blackouts since he was at Tennessee, I worry that he is dealing with some form of brain damage, whether it be natural or related to football. That can lead to violent behavior and make him a danger to himself and everyone around him. Of course, that is speculation, but I think it is a valid concern. I hope he is found alive and able to get some help.

 

In Pittsburgh, this is so true. And when I've gone back, the hills that I walked are even steeper than I remember. Not quite the Whitney Portal here in the Eastern Sierra, but steep for a residential neighborhood.

 

There were houses in my neighborhood where you had to walk up 17 steps to get into the basement and when you walked out of the back of the first floor you were at ground level again

I like to joke a lot on this forum, but I can’t joke about this one. I hope I am wrong, but I have a very very bad feeling about how this situation will play out.

 

The police are still looking for Sutton, but there was a bit of news from the Lions yesterday. They are saying he was at their facility working out when news of the arrest warrant broke. Someone from the team spoke to him after seeing it, then Sutton left. The Lions, who have a zero tolerance policy regarding domestic abuse, cut him the next day.
