    1. If Steelers win the SB, I am happy and all is good.
    2. If the Steelers don't win, but NE and Baltimore lose, then I am disappointed, but not crushed.
    3. A SB win by either NE or Baltimore is the worst case scenario - total devastation.

Go Atlanta (or SF if necessary)...

I was complaining about the theories, not that people keep posting them. Big difference.

Ray Lewis and the Ravens win. Do not want 49' to tie us. God only knows when we will get their again.

Its a tough one, I'd hate to see the Ravens win. I live in Baltimore, and it would just s*ck! On the other hand I love the 49ers D, but I don't really feel a young upstart like Kapernick should be a Superbowl winning QB. I can live with 49ers tying the Steelers. Steelers can just win another in the years ahead :p

Why shouldn't Kapernick be a SB winner?

Because he's not a Steeler. LOL. As a matter of fact I wish there would be a rule that there is no Super Bowl if we aren't playing in it. That would be awesome.

I wonder if after the game they will just have a long embrace and it'll be some immortalized moment by NFL Films or if one will come out and celebrate with the other? They really do seem like they get along good and they're not some dysfunctional family or anything so I just wonder how they'll handle it.

i don't want SF to tie us for 6. i would rather come from the best division in football and have been beaten by the best this year. i'm going with bmore and it hurts me to say that.

I had always thought I'd never root for them to get 6 until we get 7 but that was BEFORE I just watched them win the AFC title. I just can't stomach it.

I don't know, this dude only started 8 games, and is running QB. At this point in his career he can't hold a candle to some of the best in this league. If he started the beginning of the year, maybe I'd feel different. I just feel running QB's like him are due to take a fall at some point.

To his credit he had a great game today.

Of course the Ravens are going to win. It's Lewis' last game and he'll cry on the podium afterwards and thank his personal Lord and savior. You just can't script this kind of thing....................oh, wait, yes you can!

Maybe the refs could supply a pacifier to each head coach prior to the coin flip.

One thing is for certain. A coach will be crying for joy and the other will be complaining to the refs.

I am far from a Rats fan but they are the lesser of the 2 evils in this game.....the SB.

I do not want to see 49ers get 6th Lombardi.......and Jim Hairball is far more arrogant that John....though I am no far of his either.

Jim is a true punk! If you have not seen it......do a search on what he did to dis the Lions coach last season. This was not the first time this happened for Jim Hairball after a game. He got into it with Pete Carroll after a game when he was at Stanford. He is an unprofessional punk!

I can't imagine Tomlin - Cower - or Noll ever dong this kind of thing.

Sorry, that doesn't make sense to me. Who cares if the winning QB started 1 game or 18, is a runner or passer, is a pocket passer or scrambler?

If the guy wins, he deserves it.
