It's not the freaking pick....it's all the time that will be wasted on Him, and not on someone that could actually move this team forward. They are not just trading a pick....they are trading away now looking for the future for a while.

I expect the combo of Wilson/Fields to double the amount of TDs thrown by the Steelers QBs in 2023, which was only 13.

I don’t think Khan will waste a lot of time if they determine that Fields isn’t the guy. He’s proving himself to be pretty decisive. It wouldn’t surprise me to see them draft a guy in the mid rounds next month.

    We shall see.
But hey....He sure can run. LoL. Exactly what I look for in My Qbs. Good thing KC didn't feel this way....with Mahomes 4.80 time.....now people will say...well He ran for 1st downs in the SB, and playoffs.....yeah so has P. Manning.....when teams are scared to death with Your passing....they tend to leave open running areas......ask P Manning he ran for a 30 yard 1st down in the playoffs.

I see Las Vegas odds has Russell Wilson as the pre-season favorite for Comeback Player of the Year.

Exaclty. This claim has been refuted many times, people were hopeful that Trubisky maybe improved behind Allen for a year and that Chicago hurt his development. Turned out to be wrong. I don’t know who all these people are that supposedly ran away from it. I suppose its the same people that gave STD a lot of negative ratings on his post last night, all 2 of them, so many! :lolol:

They're better off drafting players who can contribute in 2024, those mid round QBs will be projects.

I am just SO relieved that Fields wasn’t brought in as Plan A. That would have been brutal.

The good news: now we have a poor man’s LJ to impersonate him in practice before Ravens games.

They will probably draft a WR in the first or second round.

How will Khan screw over Chicago next? Maybe send them Levi Wallace for their first overall pick.

    There is that.
I just don't understand the mind set.....Hey we dominate a certain style of Qb.....I dont know if people know this.....but add LamarJackson, and Cam Newton together and we have only lost one game, but ...Hey let's go get one just like that.....what type of thoughts come up with that type of strategy????
Should We not be looking for the type of Qbs We actually have trouble playing???? I'm at a loss of understanding.....

    Not sure in all honesty.

I believe that Ryan Poles might have to block Omar's number from here on out. :lolol:

Trubisky was signed to be a bridge QB, nobody was expecting him to be that great.

We shall see. They could still draft a late round QB this year and work out a team friendly extension with Fields. The experts have already said the QB class of 25 is nothing great.

If you’re going to have a less than ideal QB situation for a few years at least a guy with legs can make plays and perhaps win some games with a good team around him. If Fields was rescued from the Bears before he was ruined then great…if not then they are no better or worse than they would be in 2025.
