Matt Williamson with DK sports reported this morning that he believes when the final trade numbers come out that Carolina will be picking up about half of Jackson's salary with Pittsburgh. He said there is no way the Steelers would have traded away DJ and not received more in return. Jackson has a $4 million roster bonus due on March 16th, so maybe Carolina will be picking that up.

 

You can pretty much go look at the rosters of the 31 other NFL teams and find guys just as good if not better. We are currently, no better than anyone else at developing wide receivers. If anything were middle of the pack.

I agree---we scratched back to 24-17 against Bills in Buffalo--our strongest playoff performance in years--would've been a great time for a 3-and-out or turnover. But gave up TD to end it. Mason and the O were getting it going---then all our LBs and safeties got hurt.

I kinda agree. Hell we can use DJ as part of this. Look at all the Wrs everyone mentioned, and then look at them without Ben....only a very few of them looked good without him.....including DJ. His numbers dropped as soon as Ben retired.

 

Now look at Him with Ben.
Wrs in the main are very Qb dependent. Only a very few look good with any Qb....very few.
