Any free agent line targets or just draft?

 

Should we be excited by Tyler Boyd in terms of a legitimate upgrade on Diontae?

 

A lot of talk on Russell Wilson bringing his friend Odell to the Steelers. Apparently they are close personal friends that train together, and have always wanted to play together.

 

Well here are some fun facts about Boyd (and Diontae):

Tyler Boyd has the 4th most receptions in Bengals history, despite being not much more than a WR3 during that time.

Diontae, meanwhile, leaves the Burgh with the 5th most receptions in team history (only Hines Ward, Antonio Brown Heath Miller, and John Stallworth caught more passes).

 

No, but Boyd is an improvement over Robinson and would be a good #3 WR.

 

Its pretty much set that Boyd will sign and the Steelers will draft someone in first two rounds.
I'm guessing the 4th WR might be Robinson again, along with Austin in there.

2 more backup QB's switched teams today. Jameis Winston goes to the Browns and Joe Flacco is now a Colt.

 

I saw Winston went to the clowns....man, that QB room is gonna be a bunch of head cases

Tyler Boyd is a good player, but he is a legitimate downgrade to Johnson. He's probably best as a really good #3. He would be more than fine if we take a WR in one of the first 2 rounds.

 

Are the Steelers gonna trade up into the Top 7?! If so, that is a steep price to pay.

 

I've always thought that OBJ was overrated, but he wouldn't be a terrible pick up as a short term #3.

 

I really hope Boyd signs with Steelers.
