I've got to wonder; who will make that trade with Chicago?
- Do they trade Fields?
- Do they trade the pick?

Minnesota is rudderless at QB now. They have the 11th pick.
I can't see Chicago trading with them.

Denver picks at 12 - I think they might move up to 9 with Chicago and take whichever QB drops.

Da Raiders pick at 13, they picked up Minshew. They apparently haven't released Garoppolo. I could see them bid for that #9 spot too.

I don't see much of a market for Fields yet. I see a much bigger market for that pick.

 

If the Bears can't find a trade partner for Fields maybe they just keep him as a backup to Caleb Williams.

 

How do the Chargers get under the cap?
They are going to have to make some tough decisions, if the player(s) aren't willing to renegotiate, its a cut.
No one is going to trade...

Might be 2 maybe 3 players available from there.

If Keenan Allen ends up a cap casualty I would hope we’d at least kick the tires on him

 

KP can still very potentially be the future Qb of this team. I wouldn’t be surprised if he comes out smokin in training camp and preseason and takes the starting spot. Even if he does end up backing up Wilson. Keep him, Wilson I think is a one year project and KP is going to be needed sooner rather than later. Don’t trade him and rely on long shot mid round guy as your backup.
