Dionte is AB light. Not quite the head case AB was, and also a lot less talented.

A LT with short arms. Played the last 3 years at Duke and was their starting LT. Came up short in arm length at the combine, under 33", and now trying to pass himself off as a center.

Hopefully the Steelers don't draft this kid and immediately expect him to start at Center. If you thought Kendrick Green had a rough start to his center career in the NFL you ain't seen nothing yet.

 

To fix losing DJ. How many touchdowns has he scored in the last couple years? Guy was a disappointment.

Khan said Broderick Jones is the teams LT, but Dan Moore said playing RT to him was like trying to wipe your ass with your left hand. Is Khan taking us to the outhouse with a left handed wipe?

Again, neither Kahn nor Tomlin were at his Pro Day but the team did meet him formally at the Combine. That said, Romeo Odunze is as bonafide of a Number One WR in this class as any. Not as fast as Malik Nabers or even Xaiver Worthy but he is argubaly the most consistent Receiver in the class... and that includes Marvin Harrison Jr.


That said?! The price to move up for a Superstar talent like him is going to be immense.

 

Maybe… we have 2 viable WR’s on the roster right now. Even if we add one in FA we’re still painfully thin. I could see us being in play for Calvin Ridley and considering drafting a mid round guy OR signing a Tyler Boyd type and taking a WR at 20. I don’t know if it’s the right answer or not, but everything is pointing to us taking WR in round 1 or 2 nearly regardless of what we do in FA (outside of signing someone like Ridley)

With Diontae going into the last year of his deal I'm sure the Steelers were getting tired of his crap, not even trying to recover a fumble against the Bengals , the locker room altercations with Minkah and Trubisky.

 

I was pimping Odunze to the Steelers early on in the draft forum, he's probably the best contested catch WR in the draft.

 

If we could get Odunze to team up with Pickens my goodness what a combo that would be.
