I never stated I would enjoy a Round One Receiver. All I am doing is pointing out the info. On the note of info, do you recall the criteria for a potential prospect to be considered a First Round pick for the Steelers; Tomlin and the GM?! Guess what today was?!.... Oregons Pro Day.

I wasn't shooting the messenger. That sucks about Oregon. We're hurting at WR but I really don't like taking one in the 1st round. We are certainly in different times in Pittsburgh. Khan is doing things his way now. I love the additions so far, and loved the subtractions, but there are still a lot of roster holes. From now to the draft is going to be incredibly interesting.

 

$10 says though thr Steelers will bring the house tomorrow on the 13th?! Which College you say?! They are as follows...

Take your pick on which College is gonna have a tremendous Steelers presence at?!


All I ask the Steelers is to please send Pat Meyer to the Arkansas Pro Day. Why him in particular?! Since 2010, positional coaches sent to a prospects Pro Day usually get taken but said players are late Day 2 to early Day 3 picks. Why Arkansas in particular?!

Coleman Shelton, Center from the Rams, could probably be had for $5mill per year. PFF ranked him 97 of their top 100 players for 2023. Im assuming thats higher than anyone on our oline lol

 

You do realize that the Ravens have to deal with the salary cap, too, right? They have a lot of money tied up in Smith and they had a decent backup. That is more likely the reason they couldn't retain Queen. He was the best inside linebacker available in free agency. More importantly, he was a second-team All-Pro in 2023.

I forgot about that. They have options and limits under the cap.

 

Probably would not be a popular signing, but at this point, I could see them bringing back Mason Cole for a bargain, just for insurance purposes.

It may not be official, but most of the available centers are off the board. There are a couple left, but the Steelers also just opened up a hole at receiver. I'm happy with the acquisition of Queen, but that doesn't mean there aren't concerns.

 

Sure there are, but trades can still be made, the draft and free agency still to come. No need to be overly critical until those things play out.

They have to draft , they have no cap. So to answer your question trying to recover from the Wilson extension.

 

Boyd went to Pitt and is 29. Would he take 3/30? Would we offer that? Curtis Samuel might come at a reasonable cost.

 

They will be just fine with Trent Simpson out of Clemson. He made queen expendable.

Why would they draft Kool Aid? He's dealing with an injury, there are plenty of other CBs for them to draft.

 

Pass, he didn't do much with Arizona, he also seems to be injured often.
