Welcome the next Kendrick Green. We draft a center and immediately make him the starter no matter how bad he looks in camp.

 

Boom! Love it. There had to be something working. We had money and several holes. This is really nice and hurts the Rats!

Was Kwon signed to a one or two year deal?

 

I hear you but a few of the kids coming out are really good. If we get a C in rounds 1 or 2, I'm good with that but we had to fill a few spots in FA if we're using a top pick on a Center. That Queen deal is great. It was really quiet so something was definitely working.

 

Can everyone stop freaking out now. What a signing.

I am so happy with what has happened so far, competition for Pickett and a leader on offense in Wilson, a new punter (Harvin annoyed me more then Ray Ray McLeod), and Quteen to top it all off, after all the players that have gone through the team from drafting up for Bush, I am more then excited.

Maybe a corner next or get Kool-Aid in the draft. . . and pick up a centre. . . .

 

It does take some pressure off the draft in that you don't have to go LB....
Still would like to see them pick up a Center.
I haven't looked at WR's available... but it wouldn't hurt to find one.

some of the signing numbers seem 'regular', but the huge increase in the CAP has bolted some positions (expected), still think C (at least a bridge guy) is really a need.

 

I saw that with the Aaron Brewer pickup they let Connor Williams walk. I don't know if Connor Williams would be an improvement over Mason Cole.

OK. ACL Tear in December is why Miami is moving on from Connor Williams.

I want a Center in FA as well simply for the fact I want them to draft a CB instead of Center in rd 1.

 

Of course Cowherd had to bash the Steelers spending more money on defense by signing Queen.

 

Dude is a moron with that whole bit. Our offense is young and in turn costs less. He's not looking at the entire picture. If Russ cost 40 million would he sing a different tune?

Add to it that he thinks their weapons are GREAT! Like who does he want them to overpay for just to say they spent money on offense?

 

It was a one-year deal. Maybe they bring him back cheap if the market for him is barren, but I imagine he's gone.

He is an upgrade for sure and plays guard at a high level. the injury is an issue.

I’m glad the Steelers aren’t going after many FA. All but 4 teams under the cap and many wa-a-ay under means there will be much money spent on the few FA. Bad year to bid for FA.

 

If the Steelers can get Tyler Boyd.... this will be a great offseason.

 

I don't really like the Queen signing, but we need somebody/anybody to fill some spots...so it is better than nothing.

Queen never really live up to his draft spot, and he was so mediocre that Ravens had to go out and get Roquan.

Maybe it was a scheme fit thing, and he can turn it around, but I'm not expecting much.

He has speed though, so he should at least be able to run with guys in coverage.
