I would trade Pickett right now to Chicago for Fields; Even trade.

No idea What I am saying Fields or Pickett's trade value is right now.

Serious question what do you see Fields doing that Kenny Pickett isn't?

Looking over Field's career and you see a very unimpressive NFL debut.

He can run. I'll give him that. Give me a QB that can read a defense and pass

No not at all, Just asking those who think that KP can develop into a competent or better QB, if we’re patient and give him the right coaching and tools, don’t seem to feel the same way about a younger guy, who’s played more games, passes about as well as KP, and runs much, much better,

If Fields is a mistake, then isn’t Kenny?

I don't know . One has played less than two years, and one has played for 3. One has a winning record, and one is 10- 27.
Before You say , but that's Chicago....they have a pretty good team, and remember Trubisky looked better with Chicago than he has looked with Buffalo, or Pittsburgh. When is enough on trying to take on everyone else's failures at QB??? If He was worth keeping....don't You think the team that spent the High draft picks , and money on Him would keep Him???

Funny, when you posted this last month, Justin Fields was the same age as Kenny Pickett was when Drafted by the Steelers; He was 24.

If the Steelers get Justin Fields, he will be the same age as Kenny was when he was on his rookie year, 25 years old. This year Kenny will be 27 and Justin Fields will be 25 when the 2024 season starts.

I didn't know Justin Fields was so much younger than Kenny Pickett, despite already playing in the NFL for 3 years. Going after Justin Fields would be like rolling back the clock on Kenny until his rookie season.

@steelersrule6 disagrees with everything. At Thanksgiving, when we go around the table and speak what we are thankful for, I am going to say I’m thankful that @steelersrule6 is not the Steelers GM! True story

OK, so if 1st round pick #15 Mac Jones, on his rookie contract, was just traded to the Jags for a 6th round pick, what is the trade value of #11 Fields?

Same exact 1st round draft class as Fields. Trade Value 6th round.

I am now dropping Fields back to a trade value of a 4th round pick.

Lawrence isn’t exactly looking like what you want from a first overall pick either.

Jones and Fields are not the same player. What the Patriots got for Jones does not set the market for Fields any more than what the 49ers got for Trey Lance or what the Jets will get for Zach Wilson.

Ok, i get what you are putting down.

If the #3 pick Trey Lance in the draft is worth a 4th round pick, the #15 pick Mac Jones is worth a 6th round pick, then the #11 round pick Justin Fields should be worth a 5th round pick by mathematical linear regression. So we know when X=3 the value of Y=4, and when X=15 the value of Y=6, so When X=11 the Value of Y=5. It is all that math Sh!t. :)

I was wrong. You can't argue with that X & Y logic. The math makes Justin Fields value a 5th round pick. :)

For fun, let’s compare Lawrence and KP year 2 seasons. TL had a rough ending last year, as he played injured. He’s lived up to his draft position, and we’d be enthusiastic if he was a Steeler

Sure we would, he just hasn't done anything the last 4 years he was number 1 pick it all of draft that year.

What does Kordell Stewart have to do with Justin Fields? Apples and Oranges. Like him or not, Stewart won a lot of games. Fields has lost a lot more than he's won.
