Trash fish, it's like pulling in an old rug out of the water.
But yes, I have done it many times. Sitting around a campfire on the bank, drinking some beer and bragging about how big the next fish will be.

I met an old guy along the bank once. He had 3 medium sized carp in a bucket.
I asked why? He said "Carp Balls"
I immediately thought "I don't want to hear this."
But it turns out he cuts the mud strips out, cuts the meat up and along with some flour makes them into miniature snowballs and fries them up.

poor carp. why would you want to eat their balls. i had my dogs balls cut off too but never thought to eat them, breaded or not. just say no to carp balls. :smiley1:

i believe mason has said no to our offer and we are looking to russell wilson. just a guess. i do believe we will draft a later round qb or UDFA. not the best case scenario but we could do worse with russell. kenny seems to be the real plan. he will have 2 years to prove it. fix the defense and maybe add a couple of weapons to the offensive line and go with it.

Wilson is starting to grow on me, although he'd have to change the attitude he brought into Denver. No more private offices, no entourage, etc.... Maybe his Denver experience taught him some humility.
But the price (which will be negligible), and an experienced QB for a shot while TJ, Minkah, and Heyword are still young, he seems to be the best we can do.

If I'm the GM and the Top Brass want it to be the Kenny Show then I make it the Kenny Show. No competition. It's his job. I build up his ego. I don't have him looking over his shoulder. I get him someone like Darnold as a back up and let him cook. He's a professional, he job is to fire himself up to play and study hard.

None of the free agent QBs are going to get us any closer to a Championship.

As much as I love Mason, I let him go... too much of a distraction.

If it's the Kenny Show, let it be the Kenny show.

Just a guess or my opinion. Coach T wants a vet QB, and its Kahns job to go do that for the man. T has seen enough of the Masons and Ducks and now his own mistakes MT and KP. He needs a Ben blanket but will probably never find one again. But Coach deserves another change of direction and see if he can work his way out of this QB mess. I`m glad he seems to be open for some changes. It will be fun to see.

I like your comments, but you really need to think about a new avatar. KP better have been on his Pony this
off season, building his body looking at film etc. His time is running out.

I would sign Mason and draft a late round QB. Go in training camp with an open competition and best one wins. I do think however that they will bring in Russel Wilson or Justin Fields and automatically let either of them take over the #1 spot.

Why waste a late round draft pick on a QB if you really don’t plan/want to use them

I think Josh Dobbs would be an excellent signing for the #3 position

And not for his playing ability

Might see something in them that other positional
players in those rounds might not offer? Aren't we all
always trying to find a gem in these late rounds. Especially at the most
    Important position in the game.

Trying to find a diamond in the rough and it won’t cost much. If it doesn’t pan out you really didn’t lose much. Towards the end of the season you will then spend the effort on the future 2025 QB draft class. Maybe have a higher pick or even trade up.

I guess but didn’t we take a QB in round 7 a year or two ago and he never saw the field in preseason and then was cut

Or something like that n’ at
