So people shouldn't ***** when the DL beats their under paid OL and smears their 50 million dollar QB possibly hurting him for half the season.

He’s worth a look, and he does have the savvy football IQ and versatility to play all over the field, but just like Minkah he is more of a free safety than a strong/box safety. That may not be a bad thing though. It would give us the opportunity to do some different things in coverage like playing 2-man with superior safety play for both deep halves, which will really help our corners, or maybe play some “robber” coverages with savvy players in both the high safety and robber roles. I honestly don’t know how much he has left in the tank though. He’s been a great player in the league so far. Supposedly a great teammate and leader too.

Thats what I was thinking. Tomlin loves versatility, they could do a lot with those two back there.

I wonder how the fans of the Broncos have accepted the new owners
who have made terrible business decisions since they bought the team. They
have a rabid fan base that hasn't had a winning record in 7 years.

I would not hate the signing of Morse as a good stopgap for a year or two. I have not heard that his performance has dropped off.

PatPete cut today, look for a veteran CB signing. Don’t know if anyone has been visiting but they don’t make moves without a good idea of what the next move will be.

Steelers have no depth at CB. JPJ is the only good one.

Some GM’s trim the roster with a fine pair of pruning shears

Omar seems to have cranked up a chain saw

So we cut a Mitch and a Mason but there is a possibility we may sign a Mitch and re-sign a Mason.

And I understand that this guy (Wilson Pickett) may be our new QB? He was a great musician a few decades ago but must be getting pretty old by now. Wow...the off-season and free agency has been very confusing so far.

Starter. From what I have read up on, his numbers put him about middle of the pack but Buffalos line really suffered the 3 games he missed last year. Supposedly a very good leader, too.

Sounds like a good pick up. Would still love to see us pick up a solid slot guy and maybe a high end ILB in FA.

Seumalo is certainly cheaper, carrying cap hits of $10.2M each of the next two years, while Dotson accounts for $12.6M and $17.9M. A good chunk of that is in roster bonuses: $4.25M and $8.50M respectively (and another $8M in 2026), making his contract a bit incentivized - with so much of his money tied in base salary and yearly roster bonuses, the Rams can release him if he underperforms without suffering much in the way of dead money. On the other hand, if he performs well they can roll part of that money into a signing bonus as part of a restructure or extension to free up cap space in a given year if needed.
