Make it happen. No more subpar play on the offensive line. Focus on becoming bullies in the trenches.

Trade the divas and get players that aren't afraid to smack you in the mouth.

    Him or Mims.

For me?! One or the other. With any luck, March 12th is when we will find out. Why March 12th?! That is the day of the Oregon Pro Day.

    Again, since 2015, Pittsburgh has selected players in the First Round based on the personnel brought there. These special personnel are as follows;

    Owner

    General Manager

    Head Coach

Najee Harris, Kenny Pickett and Broderick Jones all meet this criteria. More such as Minkah Fitzpatrick (via trade though the team brought the house in 2018), Terrell Edmunds and T.J. Watt classify here as well.

I hope not. First I am not a fan of that player, and I am not a fan of drafting a center anywhere near first round.
    Let's get a Ferrari.

Kool-Aid McKinstry. He plays all over the secondary. His NFL comparisons have been Roger McCreary, Trent McDuffie, and Devon Witherspoon.

Quinyon Mitchell would be the only CB I would like over Kool-Aid but I think he is gone before the pick.

Got to worry about the injury, and isn't one that will always be in play???

What I've read on it seems to indicate it isn't a problematic one, like the Lisfranc fracture that has occasionally been known to give players issues later.

Currently the plan appears to be for Kool Aid to work out at Alabama's pro day before considering whether any minor surgical procedure should be performed to assist in its healing. Either way he's expected to be 100% for training camp.

Still, it's bound to push him down a few spots with some teams come draft day.

I'm seeing more mocks having the Steelers taking Jackson Powers Johnson since we cut Cole. I originally wanted to take Mims in the first and then Zach Frazier as our center in the second but Frazier's combine performance has vaulted him into the late first, early second round range. If we don't get a starting center in free agency then we better pounce on JPJ if he is there at #20.

They say don't draft for need, but there are zero centers worthy of starting material right now.

We pretty much go Oregon or WVU with the 1st round pick at center imo.

A Ferrari looks nice but if it doesn't run what's the point?

I'm ok with the Mims 1st round, Zach Frazier 2nd round mock drafts. I don't think Frazier is lasting that long though

There's plenty talk about JPJ in the Bill Nunn draft forum.

I wouldn't be shocked if Frazier is picked at the end of Round 1 honestly. Between him, JPJ and Barton if a team is willing?! Best Centers available. I still wouldn't mind Van Pran or Beaux Limmer but having a Day One starter is essential.

Just a tid bit of personal info from Combine, Frazier and JPJ both benched 225 30 times, the kid from Arkansas 39 times.

Post Combine Mock Drafts I am starting to see Mims go ahead of Latham. With Latham going to the Steelers.

I actually work in orthopedics with orthopedic surgeons. A Jones fracture is not going to be any long term ordeal. They will put a screw in that and he should be ‘normal’ 6-8 weeks.

Let's help Kenny and let's keep up with the division, where there are tons of weapons. WR at 20 for me. There will be slim pickings at 51 if we miss on Troy Franklin, Roman Wilson, and potentially Xavier Worthy, and they will all be gone ahead of our pick 51.

I'd be ok with that if they traded Dionte for at least an early 2nd round pick, which is unlikely. I'd trade Deonte for his Divaness and dumb statements alone. It's not that I don't like his play except the fact he can still be loose with his hands at times.

The only saving grace is this draft is somewhat deep at the center position.

Imo this team needs a young, talented starting center and left tackle.

I'm tired of this weak azz running attack when there are two good running backs. They need to be able to control the clock

Center then a corner and then d-line in that order. Late round safety. Wont matter who we draft if we play the worst qb in the league.
