Gerry Dulac thinks BA will try to hire Butler as his DC. Guess we will find out how much Butler wants to be the future DC of the Steelers.

Yeash, don't know anything about that guy but he did terrible with the Eagles according to that account, 1-9 giving up 31.9 points per game.

Say Hack - your signature picture there reminds me that the Steelers might want AC McCarron instead of Teo - at least we've all seen AJ's girlfriend.

More on topic though - with BA now running the show in Pgh West - looks like the perfect landing spot for Wallace and Mendy - could BB be far behind?

Nice. Ive only been to Phoenix once and even then I was just passing through on my way to San Diego.
Not sure what value I'd be to the organization, but I couldn't do much worse than the DC that they just hired. Im probably just as qualified.

And then we re-hire Ray Horton and the beat goes on!

Who knows they might find, BD Cooper, that would BE something.
But in the end it's probably no BF deal.

I guess what happened was that - as soon as Horton interviewed for the HC position, he was no longer viewed as a guy who could be kept on as a coordinator. I can kind of understand the reasoning - what incoming HC wants to inherit a coordinator that interviewed for the head position and was rejected? The Horton move makes 100% sense in that context. However, the Bowles selection is just puzzling.

I could totally see both of them ending up in Arizona, but the main problem still exist....who is actually going to throw them the ball?

Imagine that WR combo...Fitgerald and Wallace (who thinks he's as good as Fitzgerald or at least should be paid like him.)

Well, they were 4-0 with Kolb before he got hurt so, maybe they can do well with him but I have to believe they will be looking for a QB this draft.

Reports here suggest they will try to work a trade for Alex Smith. Not sure, however, the 49ers would want to move Smith within the division.

IDK, I thought Jauron did a pretty good job. I don't see Horton making much of a difference tbh. I know he didn't impress me as a DB coach when he was here.

Agree, we are much better now in the secondary, than we were when Horton was here. I would take Lake any day over Horton as DB coach or even Defensive coordinator.

    Oh geez.

Our DBs were the most underperforming group that we had when Ray Horton was our DB coach. I don't think we have anything to worry about. He's not the next coming of Dick LeBeau.

Who could blame Butler if he jumps ship? I'm sure he's tired of waiting on DL to retire. If he goes, our next DC should be Carnell Lake.

I would like that very much but it seems Butler is determined to wait. I don't know what DL's intentions are, he strikes me as the type of guy that wouldn't know what to do with himself without a job but they must have told Butler something to get him to stay last year.
