POLL: When will the Steelers win their next playoff game?

Simple question - when do you think the Steelers will win their next playoff game?

 

I give it 3 seasons. It's gonna take a few drafts and some serious free agency acquisitions to right the ship.

 

10 or more seasons. During that time tomlin will have retired and been enshrined in the hof. In the years after his retirement we will have gone through 5-6 head coach gm combos with no improvement in sight. Only then will the dim bulbs begin to flicker ever so slightly brighter.

 

Tomlin=Belichick

One down year and will roar back next season.

 

I didn’t see the button that said 2 years after Tomlin. I am not sure if that means 20 years from now?

I've noticed you have a tendency to very negative posts. Given that this poster is very negative himself why do you feed him what he craves? The question Is actually a valid one given the longest winless playoff non winning streak since before Coach Noll. Tomlin has been a good Coach bit it seems he has come to the point where he is ineffective and it's time for a change. In my opinion he no longer seems to be able to control this team. It happens to every coach. It's time for him to go

 

But, he’s gonna unleash hell in December and make the playoffs this year, so a “down” year will be at least .500.

 

Ben was the real reason the steelers haven't had a losing season for so long. That streak started before tomlin came to town. Now that Ben's old and leaving its going to be a struggle with tomlin at the helm in my opinion. The other 3 division foes are on the upswing so it's hard to tell. I think it will be a while personally. But I'm also one of those negative Nancy's and care more about this team winning superbowls than making multiple playoff appearances and bowing out early like we've been doing.

Tomlin coordinators do not get head coaching jobs.

They may crash and burn as head coaches and have to return to Bill, but they do get the Head coaching offers.

I am hoping the Steelers clean house this year and force Tomlin to bring in some real Talent at the Coordinator positions, if they let Tomlin stay on at all.

 

You should have added, "not before Tomlin leaves" as a choice.

I really don't think only 10 percent of Steeler fans truly believe they can win a playoff game next year.

If that's truly the case, then next year is a good year to get tickets cheap

I'm in the optimistic/idealistic maybe that this team can pull it together.

Friermuth for >1000 yards the dude needs to be in the category of the greats.


And.. don't expect to win a game with being afraid of throwing over the middle of the field. If we truly do not have faith in Pickett throwing a crossing route then he needs to be out of the NFL

Warren and Najee.. the knife and the hammer. Spend $$$ and draft capital on rebuilding the OLine. Build onto the Georgia Dawgs we got going on. Pound the rock and control the clock. When the D bites, hit Pickens deep give the guy some chances to make a play.
