so this is an internal Team survey - is that what this is?

 

Good ol Brooke Pryor. There's quite a few championships between the two highlighted teams. Add the Steelers Championships.. that's a lot of Super Bowls.

28. Steelers 29. Patriots 30. Chargers 31. Chiefs 32. Commanders

 

When they say locker rooms, are they talking about the Stadium locker rooms, or their everyday practice facility locker rooms?

I have no idea how old the practice facility building is?

And, I think the "small staff" shows up in the grade for Nutrition/Dietician and Team Travel; less people to help the players available.

 

I had been to every teams Stadium and Practice facility up to 2015.

The 49ers were elite for a long time.... awesome place.
The Dolphins have come on strong and apparently are improved since I last saw.

The Steelers to me were always mid-pack.
The Stadium is just OK.... I like being there. It's not the worst by any stretch of the imagination.

But since Dallas built that shopping mall stadium, people are looking at that sort of thing.
and LA topped it.

 

That is just horrible to hear!

 

It’s time for Rooney to consider selling the team to someone who isn’t a cheap ass…

 

I remember last time the poor “Family” rating was because they don’t provide daycare

I’m having a hard time taking that complaint seriously

 

It is amazing nowadays how many large companies offer Day care for their employees.

When most other Team's in the league are offering free day care, you are going to get complaints. Don't you want the same benefits as your company gives in most other cities, why can't you get them in Pittsburgh?

To me it is another "Small Staff" problem. Hire some people to work the 8 or 9 home games to take care of the players children during gameday. Hell even my gym offers free daycare included with my membership.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers charge players’ families $90 per child. Most teams offer the service for free. The Cincinnati Bengals, Patriots, Steelers and Commanders all received F- for their treatment of families, which focused on services available to players and their families on game days.

Same argument we had last year: I don't understand how a Billion Dollar company does not offer free Day Care, and you don't understand why someone making over $1 million needs free Day Care.

 

What is the ranking of other teams around the league ... the colleges these kids come from have way better facilities and lockerooms because their funding is insane. What is reasonable when coming to Pittsburgh, because everything probably is a down grade from these colleges?

Also they are sharing all these facilities with the Panthers...how many other pro teams do that?

However, I have a hard time believing there are 30+ guys on the team that think Rooney is a trash owner?

I wonder if Steelers being on the South Side hurts them at all in terms of facilities? If they were somewhere where there was more space and maybe open fields, could they put some awesome big compound in?

They said Team travel is a D, and I kinda believe it ... Wolfe and Starks were talking about the plane rides this year, that it got a little harrowing a couple games ... I wonder if they need a new plane or travel staff?

What happens when the Steelers have a 90 man roster? Do the players double-up? When does Pitt arrive with their 100+ players? You also have to wonder if sharing a facility with a bunch of college kids is part of the problem for the players? I don't know if there are any other teams in the NFL sharing their practice facilities with a college.

CHEAP....really no game day daycare. I guess coaching staff is not only place the we are skimpy on. It reminds of the scene in Moneyball where the team charged the players for soda. The Steelers and the A's are very similar now and about as far from a championship as mars is from Earth.
