That's how they all respond when they can't form a coherent argument...

Was Socrates as cool in person as he was portrayed in Bill and Ted?

There wasn’t an overhaul obviously but they did changed things, I’ve posted breakdowns on it. It’s baffling to me that people think they fired Canada and then changed nothing and that showed up immediately in Picketts first game without him.

Almost everyone to a man seen this early in the season. The D was loading the box to stop the run. People were complaining about why has KFP taken a step back.....well the DCs in the league after watching tape from the 1st years said.....stop the run, and that's what they were doing, and for a good part of time We(Steelers) couldn't take them out of it. Some will say .....well why against certain team could they still run???..... Well not every team is good at stopping the run is why. I don't know how some didn't see How much different the D had to play us once Mason started.

You can watch the all 22 throughout the year, and You will see many many many of the same plays still run when Mason came in, but let's say I buy they changed everything.....why for a game , and a Quarter(I believe thats how long He played before get hurt again...maybe two Quarter)was KFP still having trouble scoring?? Yes yes I know drop pass here, a bad call there.....that all seemed automatically to change as soon as Mason was put into the lineup. Could it be better placed balls, finding the actual open man, and delivering on time, or did the team in whole just start getting lucky once Mason started???

Although I believe(I have heard this said by DK)
He was the Highest rated Qb the weeks He played, and He scored more points against Buffalo in the playoffs than Mahomes did....., and no He is not Mahomes. I'm just saying...

Translation: It finally sunk in that your claim that I was arguing with myself is false and you can't admit it, so you post this nonsense.

Here is something a little more true to the Canada offense... here he beats out Mitch as I was saying at the time,
    but this is "Good Mason"

Again, it wasn’t an overhaul so of course there are still going to be plays that are the same but you don’t think they removed the most useless and problematic parts of the playbook? As I have spoken about they made four changes right off the bat.

How do you know the points wouldnt have followed? 150 yards rushing and 410 total yards in his first game without Canada. And as you pointed out there were points left on the field because of the blown call and fumble. Fumbles happen but players failing to jump on the ball because they quit on the play isn’t a normal occurrence.

You are correct....I don't know if points would have followed. I only know what I seen. One struggled to score, and one didn't, and that's all I can really go by. Also...as You know I will stick behind KFP, and I hope He does better. I have this strange loyalty to whomever the Steelers draft. Hell I didn't really get mad about T. Edmunds until like his 3 year. So......
Problem is .....they drafted Mason also.

It should be easy for a fifth-year veteran to look good against third and fourth-stringers.

What would be an even more terrible idea is for Pickett to go into training camp as the unquestioned QB1 with nothing more than a washed-up veteran or 5th round draft pick as competition for the job. He must have legitimate competition for that spot and I think Mason would fit the bill nicely. That way if Pickett EARNS the job then we'll all feel better. Iron sharpens iron.

Let's see, the Seahawks scored 20+ points that game I believe. Shew, seems like a stretch for Pickett.

The Seahawks couldn't stop the run, a trend going in that game, which was a nice gift for whoever played quarterback that day.

Wait.... KC scored 27 in the playoffs. Pittsburgh scored 17??? confused.

    No doubt.
I don't think anyone can question that he stepped and played as expected by a Vet backup. He even excelled.
It's the bad Mason that causes heartburn.
I don't think you're one of the ones washing his feet... I also agree with you up to a point.
I'm not trashing him either, I just know he is not the solution.

Yeah but thats not what I quoted you as saying. You said Rudolph should be QB1 next season. Sorry but they aren’t winning anything with Rudolph.

The odds aren’t great for Pickett being the guy either but as a first rd pick they have to find out for sure before moving on.

And I'm not backing off of that. Mason was a better quarterback at the end of last season than Kenny was. So, if Mason is under contract going into next season IMHO he should be the presumed starter and not Kenny. Create a little adversity for Kenny and make him go get it if he really wants it.

You wonder why I have asked if you ever played.
That would be fine if it was a one on one sport, or if the guys He was playing with were all starters.
You do realize the guys he's is playing with are 3rd, and 4th stringers. LoL
Now imagine if He looks this good with the starters that KFP didn't....imagine what KFP would look like playing with 3rd, and 4th string guys blocking, running, and catching for him. LoL

Hell, I'm not trashing him. I'm just trying to be realistic, but the folks who are fawning over him want no part of that.

I know enough from playing and covering the sport to realize the argument you made in this post is nonsense now just as it was nonsense the many other times you've tried to sell it before. As Tomlin pointed out at the time, he should torch scrubs like that. He's a varsity player out there against the JV. Even with JV guys on his side, that is an advantage for Rudolph. I'm sorry you still don't understand that.
