By the time I got my first car, cassettes were the dominant tape format. But I did have an 8 track player as a kid. I still remember being in the middle of a song and it fades out, then CLICK, and then fades back in. Funny to think about now.

Ben's full pump fake in the super bowl against the cards on the last drive is what won it.
He pumped faked and the defender bit and slipped and Santonio Brown or was it Antonio Holmes LOL ran to the 5.

You're lucky not having to use a pack of JOB 1.5 to wedge the tape in to play

    I had a quadraphonic 8 track player

Theoretically the only place it sounded perfect was if you were sitting with the gear shift handle up you butt

I say theoretically because I did not test this hypothesis

Yes. One of my favorite albums when I was a kid (still is) was Boston's debut album. Somehow the case got cracked so my brother grabbed my dad's Johnny Cash Live at Folsom Prison tape and swapped the contents. It played great after that, but the old man was pissed. So, we had to buy him a new one. Stupid kids. Would have been easier just to buy a new Boston album in the first place.

Oh yes. Having to wedge the tape because either the heads were dirty or worn or the tape was about shot to hell.

As far as the OP's question, I haven't given up on Pickett, but my personal opinion is that his leash as a starter should be relatively short. It's apparent the owners are trying to eliminate excuses, for example, the OC, center, etc. Time for KP to nut up.

What goes around comes around (no pun intended). My middle son now has a turntable and a collection of classic vinyl records.

I haven't looked at the new turntables today, but I would bet they are way different than the one I still own, and the others I had growing up.

I don't know that I've given up on him half as much as I feel his confidence was shattered under Matt Canada. He needs to sit behind Mason and learn/mature to get his confidence back. If we throw him out there again to start the season and he underperforms, there will be no coming back for him. One scenario being the legitimate open QB competition. If he competes and legitimately beats out Mason or whatever veteran they bring in if Mason does not return, great then he should have some confidence in his return.

Kurt did a lot, I think all the years at Cardinals for sure and because of fumbling issues a lot of time at the Rams. Peyton wore them with the broncos because hsi finger tips became numb from his neck injuries.

I think the only way Kenny gets replaced this year, as a starter, is if a QB falls to us in the draft.

Steelers are in no position to move up in the draft or make a big splash in trades or free agency. It would set them back big time with all the holes on the team.

I had all Technics components in college. Gave them to my older brother when I graduated college and he still has them today (turntable, receiver, double cassette deck and equalizer. All bought at the Appliance Store in Erie, PA back in the mid 80's.
