Burger Queen ended in 1981 and changed it's name to Druthers. There is still one Druthers restaurant left in the US, it's in Kentucky. It was mostly a southern chain stretching from Florida up to Kentucky.

How is this a "Straw man?"

3.) (Upcoming excuse, not really valid) Kenny has to "get used to" new OC. They have mini-camps and regular camps to learn the system, plus the preseason. This isn't rocket science (or we should sign Dobbs). It just doesn't fly with me. What the F are they doing at these camps? I've seen high school teams that didn't need the excuse of a new offensive system to blame a lack of production. The offense - including the QB - should be ready week 1. If not, there is something wrong with the team and/or QB.

If you've been paying attention at all, you'd know this is an upcoming excuse the team will attempt to apply in 2024. If you don't know this will be an upcoming "excuse" for Kenny not producing in 2024, you are new to the Steelers. If the team puts up a paltry 18 PPG, the excuse of "Kenny has to get used to the new offensive system" will be set in place just as the excuse of "Canada's system needs a mobile QB" was set in place 2 years ago.

    A "strawman argument" is: https://www.grammarly.com/blog/straw-man-fallacy/

I don't see how this applies.

Doubt if they're related but, there's a Burger Queen in Ketchikan. Really good cheeseburgers!

I agree, it’s just all relative to the team he’s on.

I can't believe how forgetful some people are. MR was essentially a rookie when Ben went down, yes back up and need to be ready, but the line was a mess and the running game was nearly non-existent. I'm not saying he is or was the 2nd coming, but it's hard to perform well when those around you are playing like crap as well.

A sure sign that a poster is lost is when he brings up Brady being a sixth-round pick as if it somehow instructs how teams should look for quarterbacks.

Pickett actually was a rookie when he stepped in and that team had lousy pass protection and no running game. They struggled in those areas much of the 2023 season, too.

Also, Rudolph wasn't a rookie. He had two NFL training camps and ample opportunity to work with NFL coaches and players in practice and preseason games before he stepped in. That's not nothing.

Your posts have absolutely no value as it lacks logic and ends up in name calling. You put up strawmen, or just make up false assertions or fake arguments that someone never claimed and end it with calling other names. There may be psychological issues with you but I couldn’t care less. Don’t bother replying to my posts. I plan to ignore yours as they add zero value.

Just because you can't follow the logic does not mean it isn't there.

Once again, you claimed I used a straw man when I did not. That was your first lie.

Once again, you claimed I made a false assertion when I did not. That was your second lie.

What is a fake argument? Does that mean someone claims people are arguing when they aren't? Or do you mean a fake assertion or claim? If so, why are you writing the same thing twice with or between the two of them? Do you know what the word or means?

I didn't call you any names. That was your third lie. I pointed out that you were using a terrible argument.

If you want to run and hide when I correct your many errors, that is your decision. I'm still going to mock poor arguments like yours when I see them.

That is an interesting response for someone who was just whining about name-calling. Not only is this an argument ad hominem, but an inappropriate one because it makes light of mental health issues. I understand that having your poorly-constructed arguments dismantled so consistently must be frustrating for you, but that doesn't excuse your response. Please do better.

King crab is my absolute favorite form of seafood. I would be doing some serious damage to the king crab population as well!

Dude, the whole argument is based on who is the better quarterback based on QB play… Mason or Pickett. I think Pickett is bottom tier based on his qb play ( one of stats being that he has the lowest TD to pass percentage of all qb in nfl history). I think Mason is a much better option. I don’t think he’s great, but serviceable until Steelers find their next franchise QB. Also considering that Mason is a free agent and probably will not be a Steeler, the whole argument is moot. You are probably irritated that you really don’t have stats to back your position except the lame old blame the OC excuse. That’s the summary. Rest is noise

I see you aren't going to acknowledge the hypocrisy of your ad hominem attack or the inappropriateness of making light of mental health issues. A Steelers fan should know better than to do the latter given the team's history in that area. If you don't know what I'm talking about, educate yourself regarding Mike Webster, Terry Long, Ernie Holmes, Justin Strzelczyk, and Stephon Tuitt, just to name a few. Then again, a human being should know better, too.

Yes, we've seen you repeat that one statistic ad nauseum, but it isn't a well-rounded view of the situation. You brought up Tom Brady as if he is somehow relevant to the discussion. If I remember correctly, you also argued that Rudolph, six years into his career, has more upside than every quarterback available in free agency and the draft. You insist that he has some big upside while insisting that Pickett can only be what he has been so far. You do realize that it is Rudolph who is six seasons into his career and Pickett who is only two seasons into his, right?

These are poor arguments. I wouldn't say poor arguments irritate me, but I do find myself compelled to point them out and explain their flaws. I guess it is the teacher in me.

I, nor most posters I assume, are taking his assertion of your stance being the product of a "psychological issue" as making fun of prior cases of serious mental issues with Steeler players, such as Mike Webster and Justin Strzelczyk, who had very significant mental issues, to say the least. (I'm not so sure I would include Tuitt in their category but that is neither here nor there.) In your own tagline, you seem to admit some mental conditions.

Heinz wrote that I come across as a pompous ass, that I'm prickly and abrasive. Yeah. I get that.

I think it's a "leap" to accuse Tiggs of making light of Steeler mental illness. I think some of his assertions "hold water." I'm not looking to start a flame war here, just making an observation. Let's get back to talking Steeler football. Cheers.

I think he would be a great backup in KC. If Mahomes goes down, their season isn't automatically ruined. Rudolph is probably one of the best backups in the league.
