Pure Progression

Absolutely! 300 lb athletes trying to break you in half is always a concern. I think getting into a real offense with real progressions and believing in what he is doing can help him with that.

If he doesn't respond and show something, his days as a starter are over unless he is lucky and gets another chance to prove himself in the future.

 

You don't care about me so much you're responding to others and calling them Thor, just like you keep responding to posts just to say you didn't read them.

How about you just try and be mature in debating your points. Like Scribe said, there are interesting points to be taken from others even if we don't agree with their overall premise.

 

I'm basing this off of articles I have read, videos I have seen of Rudolph talking about adjustments during games, coaches being interviewed, and what we have seen with our own eyes of plays they have run before, but added a twist with something new out of the same formation and play.

All of this stuff has been reported or been stated by players or coaches. It's not exactly a mystery.

It was reported that Canada didn't like to work directly with the quarterbacks.

It was reported that the coaches were making it a priority to get plays in quicker.

It was reported and stated by players that the coaches were giving the quarterback more input, selecting plays, etc... I believe Kenny Pickett and Rudolph both commented on it.

It was stated by Rudolph in an interview about making in-game adjustments and referred directly to coaches changing routes during games.

We know that Faulkner and Sullivan shared duties, and that Faulkner developed the offense and prepared game plans with input from others, while Sullivan called the plays and worked with the QB directly. He's the QB coach, so we know that he was hands on with the quarterbacks after Canada was gone and got to handle them in his own way since he was now in charge of that. It's not that hard to know this stuff.

If you watch tape and even to the naked eye during games, you could sometimes tell when they altered a play slightly from seeing it executed several times during the season. Even commentators during the game commented on some changes or something new they ran that was not put on tape for teams to see previously this season.

We know that Canada directed the blocking schemes to his offense, and that they were so bad with some of the zone blocking concepts that they were scrapped and replaced with power schemes. I read that Meyer was getting more control, but I never heard him say it directly. It certainly makes sense. The OC was fired and someone has to direct the offensive line and make adjustments based on anything that was modified or added to the offense since Canada wasn't there and his schemes often didn't work anyway.

Again. Not exactly a mystery.

I can't believe that someone wants to be taken seriously when they are always telling people that they aren't reading their posts. I mean, just asking him a simple question to clarify what he means when he responds to my post by just clicking the "hilarious" feedback generates a response that the average 12 year old would handle better.
