I believe this is Forgotten 1's favorite movie when not posting a very divergent play list. ;)

Humidity is a huge factor in the summer but 102 degrees with little humidity still gotta be hot.

Yeah, i don't like the Stones at all or any musical group from outside of the USA
I mean, If it is something originated in a country it should only be played in said country.
    Right?

You get used to it but better have a 24 pack of chapstick handy. Very pleasant in the shade. Albeit, Joshua Trees don't cast a much of a shadow.

This covers two topics above - domestic tunes and the mystical desert in an interesting take.

There's plenty of water in the desert this year! I'm with you on the plant life. I spent way too many years in Baja California. Palm trees don't count!

I'm originally a Pennsylvania boy and love the lush forests and plant life. I also learned to love the subtle delicate natural beauty of the desert as well. One of the most colorful and awesome landscapes I ever witnessed was descending into Death Valley one spring getting ready to camp and was met with mile after mile of desert pastel ground bloom as far as you could see which was forever. Just takes a late wet winter and it's magical. This year should be spectacular. Love the wet forests and aromas of the Pacific Northwest too.

John Sykes solo stuff is pretty good. He is the reason Whitesnake's best album was so successful. Shame Coverdale fired him as soon as the recording was done and hired a new band for videos and touring. Here's a song from one of his solo albums.

She doesn't sing the same way every time, and there is a male singer also. Their music, and how they sing, and who sings differs from song to song
