I doubt Tampa Bay will let Baker hit free agency.

A broken Clock is right twice a day.
Yeah had nothing to do with the awesome running game, and Defense they had those two years. LoL
Some of You forgot they even brought in his college coach to help him in the NFL.
If You guys want a broken down Qb that has only been good 2 years out of 151 starts, and that can't stay healthy now.......you be You....Hell I heard all this same crap about Trubisky.

    So 2019 and 2020 was a fluke?

Derrick Henry wasn't a beast until 2019. 2018 he broke a 1,000 yards for his first time in 3 years..... while Harris has done it every year.

Sounds like you just want to be a hater

Yeah sounds like the same stuff I tried tell everyone about Trubisky, and got called a hater. I knew it then....it just took us signing him, and Him sucking before the rest got on board that train. Could have listened to Me and save money, and time...., but You be You....You think a broken down 35 year old Qb that had two good years out of 151 starts(that's not even counting all the games Hes played....just starts)..is a good idea...I don't know what to tell You....., but I know this....if it Happens, and it turns out bad....people will act like they never said they wanted Him..., or Fields.

You are not the only one who thought Trubisky sucked man. I knew he was trash watching him on the Bears as well. Problem is KP isn’t the answer so what do they do???

This is nothing like mitch. Mitch had one good year. Not even great. Nothing like what Ryan and Henry did under a new OC.

People were hopeful for mitch. While Ryan and Smith actually have a track record.

So yeah, you're just being a hater

Tannehil is a waste of money. Tannehil is coming off a three year contract worth 91 million (I looked it up). I can't imagine what he would accept for a contract but Rudolph is better value and has more upside.

Rudolph and Kenny will learn the new playbook no problem and Smith can be flexible and adapt his offense to the strengths of the players he has (Rudolph and Kenny), not worried about that.

Next year will be Kenny, Rudolph, and a draft pick. That's the best way to go and solves so many problems.

I think this was happening regardless and has no impact on Maason.

Neither has any upside. Neither is a future franchise QB. Neither will win a championship. Backups are backups.....sign the cheaper one.

Rudolph 2.0 (120 qbr, 20 plus points 3-4 record, playoffs) has upside.

Tannehills career has been way better than Trubiskys. He’s not my first choice but given his history with Smith it does make some sense.

A qb franchise tag would be very expensive. Are they willing to weaken the team overall just to keep him a year?

Tannehill famously said it isn’t his job to mentor (Malik Willis). He has made almost $200 million. Not sure he would be interested in coming in just to compete, at a reasonable salary.

Logan Woodside followed Smith from Tenn to ATL.

Woodside might make more sense as #3 with experience in the system.

    Kenny
    Mason
    Woodside

Then we won't have to draft a mid round unknown project QB. Woodside has been in the league and has experience working under Smith. This is not a bad idea. Makes a lot more sense financially than Tannehill. It would almost be like we got an extra draft pick.

They already talked about signing Baker to an extension, I don't see him leaving the Bucs.

If you don't give him a chance, than I agree with you, he won't win a SB.

The difference is the Bucs don't have anybody else on their roster they would start, Mayfield will re-sign with them because they will overpay.

Resign Mason, and draft one late. That will keep the Qb room still cheap, and you can build the team....if they don't work this Year.....Draft high at Qb, and hope You get one.....because Nobody is giving up a Qb they believe has a future.....nobody. This is what makes me laugh about the Fields stuff.

Drafting one late is pretty much a wasted pick you can find a FA on UDFA for that

But then again just about anyone you draft late is pretty much useless odds on

Sometimes, and sometimes not. It matters with a lot of different reasons. For instance now because people just have to have, or think they have to have a Qb with a certain speed, a really good pocket Qb could drop to you in a later round. I would bet money someone like Purdy farther back in the day wouldn't have dropped to the last round like He did.
