I know this has been discussed before, but Le'Veon Bell says he wants to make a comeback in the NFL but will only play for the Steelers.
I say good riddance, and don't let the screen door hit you. You had your chance and left for the big money. Money and cannabis were what you were looking for back then, your time has passed.

I read that last night and it’s sad really. He’s well past his prime and wants to go back and undo the biggest career mistake he ever made but the fact is it’s way too late for that. He was a special talent for sure but let a guy convince him he was a “$40 million dollar slave” and just blew it from a career perspective.

Bell is done. RBs age quicker than QBs, kickers and punters.

Plus, he couldn't win the job over Warren or Harris.

I don't begrudge or hate bell like others. When it comes to money each player can decide what's best for them. I didn't think it was his best move and predicted amongst my friends what exactly would happen which ended up playing out that way. Also don't really care if he attempts a comeback. Players get cut left and right and it's a business so up to them to keep playing if we think they're over the hill or go elsewhere if it means making more $.

What’d you ever sacrifice for a Steelers win?

Loved the way Heath was trying to protect his teammate there. He was the best I’ve ever seen at leading without having to say a word. There’s an old song that says I’d rather see a sermon than to hear one any day. That’s Heath Miller in a nutshell.

What’s Benny Snell doing these days? Lol

Benny had a lot of heart but, unfortunately, he was Benny SNAIL.

I don’t know where he’d fit in. Harris and Warren split reps pretty evenly. If he wants to come back I don’t think its for just a couple touches a game.

Maybe a Deebo type roll? Bell has lined up plenty as a receiver. First thing you’d have to do is see if he can still play which judging from his last two stops seems highly unlikely but the Steelers always did know how to use him best. Invite him to camp, see what he’s got.

Maybe one day the Steelers will host an old timers game. Flyers just did that recently down in Philly and got 13k into the building.

It was not mentioned which position he was coming back for, to be fair our punter has not 'aged' well, even though he is still young. So if Bell takes that challenge, will accept the less money and obviously less Primanti brothers sandwich bonus, I say give him a shot a P, just a thought. lol

He was washed by the time he left the jets. Still only 31 but I just can’t imagine him playing football again. Maybe he could make a roster on vet minimum as a third string but doubtful he would have the hunger for that.

Somebody already mentioned it but my first thought was that he has burned through a lot of the money he made, but he isn’t going to earn anything significant by trying to come back now though.

I would let him compete in mini camp as a returner and ST. But I do not want him taking reps from our RB.

Also I doubt he's in right condition.

The dumb ass hasn’t played in 3 years and he said he isn’t going to work out until March now there is a work ethic

Exactly who is going to sign an old out of shape player in the middle of free agency
