Oh lord now you’ve done it. A few around here are going to start having their recurring Arians nightmare

 

The way things are shaping up, there is either someone on the final 4 that they want and think they can get, management is not being competitive enough in their offers to potential OCs..... Or Tomlin is letting the pool thin until the only choices left won't outshine him.

 

Steelers fans are freaking out now because Zac Robinson went to Atlanta, like there aren't other qualified candidates still out there.

 

There’s at least one fan that isn’t freaking out.

 

Just because we haven’t heard about it doesn’t mean things aren’t happening behind the scenes

 

I really don't like any OC. But I do like arthur Smith as a OC.

 

Not sure about freaking out, but he was the best of the names interviewed or mentioned. We are going to get another Tomlin do-boy.

 

Reading the replies on Twitter is what I'm talking about, just more doom and gloom.

 

we didn’t hear about haley being interviewed until Jan 31st. He wasn't announced as OC until Feb 6th.

 

Smith called the plays with Atlanta, he had all those weapons but he didn't seem to know how to get them all involved enough.

 

Of course he did. But he has a weak resume.

I think I’d prefer Johnson over this guy.

Get ready to be disappointed, guys.

Agreed but he had horrible QB who would throw idiot interceptions and fumble.

But look what he did with Tennessee that was better than Lafleur.

He does know how to do it. And it's the best option I've seen for out there. But I think he'll be following vbrael. Because coaches stick together.

My biggest concern with Arthur Smith.


Three players whom were selected within the Top 10 picks... and you mean to tell me you cannot devise a way to get the ball into your young playmakers hands?!..... doubly so in Bijian Robinson's case?! What the hell?!

I won't panic until a week or two after the SB. It's still fairly early in the process. A lot of things tend to happen at the Sr. Bowl.

 

I understand your concern but Smith also had 2 elite years with the titans as OC in 2019 and 2020

I want an OC that's not micro managed by Tomlin. And not forced to retain assistants that wouldn't fit his system.

 

I guess I’m looking at recent history with regard to his resume and the success Stroud had under his tutelage.
