Kurt Warner has one out too but I think JT gives a more balanced breakdown of the good and bad where Warner just focuses on the good but JT definitely liked what he saw for the most part this game.

This is game ONE without Canada and the offense looked much much better. Rudolph didn’t enter until 4 weeks later, thats another month of tweaking the offense when he took over. One thing the next OC has to incorporate is having Kenny throw down the middle of the field, he excels at it.

Having said that, after watching this I’m still not confident Kenny is the future. He clearly still has things to work on which this breakdown points out. For instance his footwork gets sloppy. This is one of the difference between JT and Warner, if you dig up his review he doesn’t point out the extra hitch before Kennys throw to DJ that should have been a TD but was a touch late. Even know the ref blew that call if it was a better throw that ends up a TD.

The good news is the things he has to work on are very fixable. Aditi was on one of the talk shows and she said she knows of 4 offensive minds that say the problem wasn’t Kenny but what was going on around him and that they didn’t put him in position to succeed.

They were clearly more aggressive with Rudolph and its not because Kenny cant throw down the field, dont know where that bs narrative came from, his tape is littered with good throws, this breakdown has two beautiful back shoulder throws in it. It’s because there was no tomorrow when Rudolph took over plus add in the fact that they had more time to change some things up in the offense.

Edit: just have to click on the part that says “watch on YouTube” to view it.

Yeah I think we already had a whole thread on this. Only thing OP brings up is the time between Mason stepping in, which I think we already had another thread discussing this as well.

I don't fell like finding it, but I think it was the game Kenny was hurt. Offense looked like it was moving the ball better, just not scoring. Mitch came in and just tanked it up and missed throws Kenny or Mason would probably make.

The same throw Mason made to Pickens that he took 76 yards was the same throw Mitch sailed past his hands. (Note: it was the same play they used on 4th down against the Bills that should have drawn defensive holding at the minimum)

JT’s breakdown was posted? I don’t remember seeing it.

Because when they have him do it you can tell that’s his comfort zone. Which is my point, include it in the next offense.

JKLTO did. I remember it because I was going to but he beat me to it.

No worries. You've got a long way to go before you're in the same ballpark as repeat Tomlin Sucks threads and get on @jeh1856@jeh1856 's **** list.

    One comment and one only…

    I hate back shoulder throws!

Okay two…until Kenny learns how to trust the pocket and maneuver within the pocket, he’ll struggle with allowing longer developing patterns to materialize. That was the primary difference between him and Rudolph. Rudolph showed alot of patience within the pocket and Pickett had that cool spin move he couldn’t wait to show off, lol.

In the Cincy game, Kenny was doing that. He was doing everything that people are praising Rudolph for. Staying in the pocket, going through progressions, throwing deep and lo and behold, they also ran for 150 yards that game.

Which is the argument I have been making, the offense looked better because the OC changed. Doesn’t mean Kenny was perfect that game, he still has some ugly things to iron out but he looked a heck of a lot better with a more competent game plan.
