Pretty soon the Steelers will be bringing in Catt Manada to sit down and interview for the OC job.

Exactly, it's pandering if they only interview a minority to check the box.

I don't think that's the case, I'm just pointing out the flawed logic of others.

I wonder what group at this point is stronger in numbers the Anti Tomlin folks or the Pro? This board is divided as much as our Country!

Given how David Tepper had the brilliant idea of meshing different coaching styles with different coaching philosophies... the 2023 Carolina Panthers Offensive Woes had just as much to do with an overall lack of cohesion among the Offensive Coaching Staff as it did with the overall lack of talent.


Parks Fraizer - Passing Game Coordinator (Previously from Indianapolis)

Mike Bercovici - Offensive Assistant (Previously from Arizona)

Thomas Brown himself (an understudy of McVay)


Last but not least in Frank Reich; someone who should have had a lot more say in whom he wanted to bring in for none of these Coaches have operated his Offensive Philosophy nor have conducted play calling under Reich.. sans Frazier; again a Tepper hire. Everyone else is literally just "All Star" names for many of these men were highly thought of for their Coaching Capabilities and nothing more. Tepper had learned, is learning, and will likely continue to learn for the foreseeable future that throwing massive amounts of cash at a problem isn't going to solve it as fast as he thinks. If anything, he is not just pissing off a massive amount of Head Coaching Candidates by continually firing Coaches year after year but also antagonizing a large pool of potential options in the process.


Let this be a lesson to those who think merely hiring the best possible candidates is going to be enough. Cohesion and familiarity are just as important, if not more so, than mere talent alone.

So damn sure we'd get a SB out of it. We should have 7. It is a total failure to not have made hay when we had that group. If these young talented men had maturity it would have been a sight to behold.

After the Canada debacle even interviewing a QB coach from the worst offense in the league is pretty scary. I don’t trust our coach and hierarchy to be able to discern if this guy had terrible results due to poor talent or it was just him and his OC
