Oh, I don't put any credence into it. Just think its funny what people post and grasp to try to prove something :lolol:

Well, the WWE is rigged/scripted, but it's still entertaining to watch. NFL=WWE

    Yeah, right

Both "injuries" even happened on the exact same hash mark

Are you sure about that? Newsflash for you RFK Stadium closed in 1996.

So I’ll pose the same question to you. How do you explain any of the players paralyzed on the field? Are they actually faking it when in public and lead a totally normal life at home? Do you really truly believe that Theismann agreed to allowing an injury that ended his career?

Man, you're really reaching there. Same hash mark, different field

And players fake injuries all the time

Do you really believe theismann agreed to an injury that ended his career? Why ignore the question about paralyzed players? Reaching? That’s rich coming from a conspiracy theorist.

I didn't ignore your question, I said players fake injuries all the time. Of course some real injuries happen

Give us one real example where a player faked a major injury. You know a compound fracture of the leg. A broken spine

Wouldn't be that surprised if TJ faked his. Sure was funny that Tomlin said that TJ would've been ready to play against the Chiefs if they had won against the Bills, lol

I'm not saying for sure that I know one way or the other, and you would have no way of knowing either. I was mainly trying to point out the similarities between Joe Theismann and Alex Smith, regardless whether the injuries were real or not

Bull crap. That’s exactly what you said. ‘Players fake injuries all the time” don’t go backpedaling now.

I didn't mean literally all the time, but a lot. Of course real injuries happen

So give us one real example of a faked major injury. You made the claim back it up.

Once again, I already answered your question. There's no way of proving it one way or the other. Of course you keep harping on the weakest part of my argument about the similarities between Theismann and Smith, but ignore all of the others

Dude your entire argument is weak. You just can’t see the forst from the trees.

The first thing I thought of was Lamar Jackson standing on the sidelines to end last season.

Then I remembered this: I have read Hoge's book "Find a Way", about his cancer recovery, but never got around to this one.

I think in the book he claims the NFL forced him to retire for fake head inquires.

I'm sure that won't convince strummerman or any of the other "fanboys" on this board that fake injuries happen. Cognitive dissonance seems to be rampant around here
