Where do you guys get that Arizona starting QB spot is open? Kyler Williams isn't going anywhere with that big contract IMO, he played pretty good this season coming back from injury.

Of course, he does because Mason threw him and Pickens the ball down the field, unlike Trubisky and Pickett.

I heard the Jets are looking to move on from Wilson.

Based off expectations that they are trying to move Kyler. I don't think it will be as hard as you think being that he is a quality player. Just have a feeling that they could just as easily draft someone and then move on from Kyler.

I just find it hard to believe another team would take on his contract.

Might be easier than unloading Russell Wilson, but this year his cap hit is 51 million, and dead cap 81 million, after this year his dead cap is far more manageable, his salary might pose a problem, but finding a trade partner might be feasible if they eat some of that money. The same could be said for Wilson, though I think his trade value is far less, both teams have to work some magic, or face a terrific cap hit.

I think that is a reasonable projection. IDK if he gets it, but in my memory this may have been the most QB's to start games in one year. There may be short memories by spring, but I think most FA QB;s agents will have an asterisk in their notes highlighting this.

Whoever the QB is I hope we get a center that can snap the ball like the Buccaneers center.
Every snap was right on target to Mayfield, 1st time I have ever focused on that part of the game.

buff was fine. playoffs, hostile environment (idiot pre-snap penalties by everyone and Pickens fumble), handcuffed by Tomlin. the game plan stunk - ask Najee, but Mason played w plenty of poise and threw TD passes. Fought us back to 7 , then the D caved. yes, the INT sucked.

That is correct, should have scored more, but he is not Mahomes who's had 6 years of first team reps, and offseasons, and seasons, and is starting and not coming cold off the bench as third string. That's Steelers' problem, their fk up, not Mason's problem.

He wasn’t cold off the bench in Buffalo

He has had 6 years of first second and third team reps

He has had 6 years off seasons

He has had 6 years of opportunity and chance

Maybe he’s just a late bloomer but he certainly had a fair opportunity
