We know how Vikings fans feel. Their '98 team was stacked on offense and they lost the NFC Championship... similar to Steelers choking in playoffs with Killer B's from '14-'17. What a waste.

 

I read somewhere that the Vikings have more 9 wins or better seasons than anyone in the NFL since the merger. Just goes to show you that it doesn't always translate to winning a SB in all those years

 

I'm not lacking confidence in my ability to do the job, while at the same time there's frustration because I want that confetti for this group.

Tomlin doesn't answer to either of them.

 

Those guys on SNR have talked about secondary coach Grady Brown could be a future DC in the league, he could use more talent in the secondary before writing him off.

 

Worst kept secret that Tomlin was going to get an extension, how do you expect to hire a competent OC working for a lame duck HC.

 

Right. I was hoping he would promote Faulkner full-time, that would've indicated that 2024 would probably be his last year. Oh well..

That Vikings team choked in the 4th qtr of that nfc champ game but they still scored 27 points. It’s silly to compare them to the ‘14-17 Steelers who in 3/4 of those seasons got eliminated in games where they failed to score 20.

 

Vikings and Steelers underachived badly, considering their potential. That was my point. And no, it's not silly to compare them. AB was almost as good as Moss. Roethlisberger was slightly better than Cunningham.

I knew Tomlin would finish the last year of his contract. 14 million dollars and he is laughing all the way to the bank. Any extension for him after this contract is beyond my ability to understand.

 

It’s beyond any logical persons ability to understand. Rooney needs to be checked on.
