Several times last night it was apparent that snowballs were being thrown on the field. One of them was while Pickens was attempting a td catch. How in the world was that acceptable behavior by Buffalo fans and not addressed or penalized by the refs? I’m in no way blaming that for the loss but it should have been stopped immediately by the officials for player safety.

Yeah, I thought it was sus. We were lucky nothing wild happened after a bad call against the Bills.

I also didn’t like how Joey Jr got blasted in the back right in front of the ref. There was absolutely no call.

I’m thinking snow balls is way down the list off our teams issues

It could very well interfere with the game and should have been stopped immediately. Sam Wyche had to stop it one time while coaching the Bengals. I must say though if one of them would have hit MT in the head it may have just knocked a little sense into him and given him the idea to throw the ball deep over the middle.

I went to a game in college promoted by Dole and they gave a banana to every student entering the gate

You can see where this went

    Las Vegas officiating association agrees.

Back in the 80’s I played in the HS band and somebody had the bright idea to invite a dozen or so bands to WVU to watch the backyard brawl game against Pitt. I saw a section that must have been a frat and there was a 1/2 keg and students were passing around bongs. Nothing was thrown on the field but you should have seen the chaperones.

They were throwing them at the bench as well. If they did this while they were winning a game, could you imagine what would have been happening if they were actually losing?

If a bad call went the Steelers way you might have gotten a situation like that one Brown’s game where bottles got thrown. Except Bills fans had a stadium full of ammo with the snow.

Bills Mafia is kinda crazy, they’d do it.

Snowballs are no joke, they can easily put somebodies eye out. Next time they're in Buffalo when there's any snow around, they better make sure their helmets are all fitted with visors

It's poor sportsmanship by the jackasses who do that, but there's also a simple way to ensure that doesn't happen. Win the home field.

The play in the end zone with Pickens should’ve been a penalty, 15 yards unsportsmanlike penalty charged to the bills for fans throwing snowballs - during the play. Bad non call on the refs.

Screw the bills for that dirty hit on Porter jr, I hope they get smoked by the chiefs

I don’t know that it would matter in the grand scheme of things, but do think the refs should have thrown a flag or two. It would have stopped their carrying on. The refs have certainly thrown flags for sillier things this year.

At some point, you need to maintain good order.

I mean they let Diggs taunt the bench by grabbing a Gatorade bottle and drinking it in their faces. Ref was right there! Now if they had responded to him the flag would have been on the Steelers.

Who knows? Since it was 95% Bills fans in attendance and a snowball almost hit Pickens while trying to catch a TD pass I’m gonna say it probably was. It could have been a Miami Dolphins fan for all I know. I didn’t catch the drivers license number of the suspect.

So do you think that if the tables were turned the Steelers Fans wouldn't be throwing snowballs? Common now.

I guess you could define that as "taunting" if you wanted to, but I actually thought it was pretty funny :lolol:

Refs should have announced before the game if any snowball hits the field it’s an automatic 15 yard penalty on the Bills. That would have stopped it immediately. But as you can tell how the game went, the NFL wanted Bills vs Chiefs. Rudolph vs Mahommes isn’t sexy.

As soon as I heard that they were going to use the same officiating crew that screwed the Lions out of a win against the Cowgirls, I knew the fix was in. Then just for good measure the governor declared a state of emergency just so their golden boy Allen wouldn't have to throw in the elements. There's no way they were ever going to let a team with a 3rd string QB play against Jackson. Let's face it, the NFL is all about money
