Minka Fitzpatrick did not look good tonight

No that would be Mike T shockingly getting embarrassed in another playoff game.

 

What did you want him to do? Be like kazee and get a penalty, fine, ejected?

 

I'm not sure what that has to do with Minkah being rusty .

 

The defensive structure has not given him the role he is supposed to as a ball hawk roamer he should be. Mishandled by genius Capitan Cliché's defensive scheme. Yes expectations are high for him but he was being misused.

Minkah has missed a lot of time and probably rushed himself back. He couldn’t be 100%

What ever way they are using Minkah, it isnt working working, he hadnt done much all year with no interceptions. That's not good. Not playing like an all Pro. He is much better playing deep safety and not all over the place and trying to cover for the linebackers.

 

Even after the fake slide he just jogged along.

He had the Bills WR and tried to throw him to the ground. Didn’t work.

Wasn't Minkah leading in Tackles when he went out with injury? If not, was dang close. Seemed Minkah was being used more as a run stopper and gap filler.

He still finished 3rd in tackles (and only 4 behind Watt).


Never going to complain about Minkah. He balls out and is all heart. Would take 22 of him.

 

Never on the field? Really? Games started: 17. Dude got held all year (like most rushers as the league tries to minimize QB injuries), double-teamed and chipped.

The Line-backers were playing solid before being decimated.

Fitzpatrick looked like a HOF safety the first season they had him. Since then I haven’t seen anything that is special. It reminds me of how great Kalil Mack played for the Bears the first season he was there. Maybe that initial season is trying extra hard to prove the Dolphins messed up. Then after a while it’s “I already proved my point. Considering his contract I just don’t see the production. What’s our record with him out of the lineup?

 

He is basically the same height and weight as Rudolph. Josh ran a 4.75 and Rudolph ran a 4.86. Why can’t Rudolph at least buy time in the pocket or scramble and make the defense choose between him or the check down player

 

He made first team All-Pro 3 times .

 

Didn’t he make all pro this year with zero interceptions. I feel like all of that stuff is a popularity contest. I don’t think I could name 8 free safeties in the league. Is he getting voted in because of past years. Tomlin has a Super Bowl ring.
