Harris: if not given a 5th year option he'll be a FA after the 24 season... I look to trade him.

Muth: will be a FA after the 24 season... often injured and production just isn't there. I perhaps wait until after the 24 season is made to sign him or not.

DJ: will be a FA after 24. I kinda want to extend him, but depends on what he's seeking.

Warren: will be a RFA after 24. I'd definitely look to sign him to a 2nd deal.

This offense just might look vastly different in the 2025 season.... just awful drafting by Colbert.

Harris: extend if the price is right (3 yr 20 million tops). Otherwise just pick up the option, consider tagging him the year after, then let him walk.
Muth: Stay put. Been injured a lot, but is a quality player when we play to his strengths. Not a great blocker, but very good receiver for the TE position.
DJ: extend. His market would be lower than his current salary and he is a very good complementary WR. Don't want to get too crazy with it, but a lower salary with higher guarantees seems fine
Warren: Extend easy. He wont be hyper expensive and he is excellent. We can always find another big back to run like Harris, but Warren's skillset is harder to find.

Warren is the only one of those guys that I'd keep, at least he gives 100% on every play. But the rest of them are overrated, and will be over paid if they keep them. I wouldn't mind if all of them just walked

We have to keep some of them... there wont be enough players in the FA market (and we only have so many draft picks) for us to cover everything. Harris is probably the most replaceable, but he is the only one that brings locker room leadership on that side of the ball. DJ could be extended at a fair price and he is a very good #2. If the QB play improves, our top 2 WR's will produce. As for Muth, its hard to tell. Lots of injuries. He hasn't been used to his full potential. Line him up in the slot more, we waste him as an inline blocker too often.

You have a point there, but all of those guys would be expendable otherwise. It's not like they've won anything with them, that's for sure

id honestly trade them all and tank the 2024 season completely away and begin the process of rebuilding the roster. This team needs to be younger on defense and a much better team on offense. This offense already proven to me that it's going nowhere so might as well get capital back for them.

HARRIS - don't see him here long term. Warren, yes. Will be easier and cheaper long term
MUTH - see him as a long term Steeler - we have SUCKED at making him better (COACHING)
DJ - hard one. Really need some WR help. Still don't know about Austin. Loved his TD yesterday. Again, he might the product of SUCK COACHING.

Colbert sucked his last 5 years. Saw Ryan Clark basically say that, yesterday. Said Colbert was building around Ben rather than planning for transition. I said as much when it was going on. they / he had NO PLAN, or should I say a LOUSY PLAN

w/o better coaching - HC, OC and DC, we won't advance too far beyond where we have been of late

True, but these are guys that could excel in a better offensive environment. I would get someone like Ben Johnson in here immediately. Even if he rolls with Kenny, I think he could improve the team schematically and turn underutilized players into guys that finally reach their potential. Freiermuth is a very talented receiver from the TE position. If we just used him like Buffalo uses Kincaid, or any other team uses their stretch TE's then he could produce at a high rate. DJ has produced in the past under Ben. He played in 14 games this year and caught 1 TD from Pickett (7GP) and 5 from Not-Pickett (7 GP). He can be a guy... we just need to get him more involved.

It's all about signing the RIGHT guys. They all could be replaced, but if put in a better position could be much more impactful.

Warren could be 3 down starter elsewhere. They are gonna have to pay to keep him. His motor never stops.

I've been saying that for years. All these 9-8 seasons have been killing us in the draft, and they always have to trade up to even get a good player (Jones, JPJ, ect). They're never going to get a franchise QB drafting #15-#20 every year, and you can't win anything without one. I'd even trade TJ for a top 3 pick in this years draft and the next. I mean, they're not winning anything with him anyway. By the time they fill all the gaping holes on this team, TJ will be washed up. Get something for him now while he's still worth something

He could be a 3 down starter here. I LOVE his skillset. You just have to spell him with a bigger back (like Najee) so we don't over-use him at his size. Its criminal we gave him less than 150 carries this year.

I know I've been calling for Ben Johnson a bit recently, but we really could use Warren VERY similarly to how the Lions use Jahmyr Gibbs. Just get Warren somewhere in the 185-200 carry total and spell him with someone else that gets about the same. Warren could be a 1500 yard back (1000 rushing, 500 receiving) pretty easily, all while adding a dimension to our attack that not every team has.

Agree but the only problem is Warren needs to hold onto the ball lol.

Let Harris walk and draft 3rd round rb to split with Warren.
Dont extend muth...FRAGILE and never available.
Let DJ walk even though he had a good game yesterday. Not worth #1 WR money. WRs are a dime a dozen in draft.

Right. The more carries, the more fumbles. I think they're using him smart as the #2. The one big plus about Najee is that he rarely fumbles

While we have both Harris and Warren, at least we put a little fear in opposing defenses about our run game. What we need is a credible passing game to make defenses play honest. If we do that, the points will come. We don`t have the QB to do that well enough to contend with the top teams.

Would be willing to not pay Muth for reasons you cited. We probably will find somebody else.

Be careful what you wish for. There is 0 guarantee that tanking and getting top 5 picks for 1-3 years actually fixes the team or makes them any better than where we are now. Look at Cleveland. They were top 5 for a good number of years and now they are in the same position as us. Without a true difference maker at QB and stuck in 8-11 win purgatory. The Bears are in the middle of doing it and they've traded into tons of picks. Still no franchise QB, might be taking a new one this year that may or may not work. The Chargers got the QB position right and and are drafting 5th this year. Not everyone gets as lucky as the Texans just did.

Tanking could just mean we are a bottom feeder for the next decade. The chances are better that that happens than we tank and build a team superior to the one we have now.

Texans may have stepped in crap with that pick. I was worried about Burrow, Allen, Lawrence, Mahomes, and Jackson. Now I'll add him to the strong QB's in the AFC.

And being stuck in a mud flow heading for a cliff is a better idea? At least my idea gives us a headstart and some return along the way.
