Wait, he can't handle pressure of a question?

No wonder bills won with ease.

So, insert <Fire Tomlin Remark here>
    It's what's for dinner. It's the fad.

The Bill's are a very good team. In my opinion, they are the #1 AFC team. They are peaking at the right time.
What can you say about Josh Allen, he's just awesome.
They did shut down the run, which was the plan to limit them.
We played them with a backup QB.
And while the game mattered, we came back after spotting them 14 to within 7.
The TO's killed us. Mason was ineffective the entire 1st Qtr.
The weather was atrocious. all things considered; it was not a good day.

Brooke Pryor is someone I've always had a problem with, even got into a shouting match with once.
She's not a journalist, she's a click seeker. That's not something you bring up during the cool down period.
    It was classless.

    I applaud Tomlin for walking.
    What's next? I dunno.

Should he call it a day - There are a lot of teams looking for coaches. There's a lot of lines in the water.
Should he remain - Contractually, he's obligated.

Pittsburgh has a solid history of picking young coaches.
Pittsburgh is an attractive job. Maybe that can drive some choices some of the younger coaches will have to make.

Not defending him but his leaky defense didn't have all it's starters.

Good post. I thought Tomlin contract was up this season and he is a free bird if he chooses.

The turnovers did play a big role in the loss.

The fumble led to a quick strike touchdown for them. Not only did the points hurt, but I am sure that hurt a lot with momentum.

Rudolph’s pick in the end zone would have been at least 3 more points for us.

I 'think' it's up after 2024? (The extension, I believe it is through 2024)

Legit and expected question. He should have had an answer ready. He's paid $12.5 million a year and he can't take a little heat? Immature to run away. Great example for the already childish DJ and Pickens. Questions could have been a lot worse. Mike, once again the team looked unprepared, why is that? Mike, do the Steelers work on fundamentals like tackling? Mike, you talked about the Bills doing a good job of packing the box, did Mason have the ability to check out of a run when everyone on the planet sees it will fail? For example, can you explain the play calling in the third quarter for the series leading up to the FG? It didn't look like we had adjusted to anything on that series. Mike, the punter is terrible. Why is he still on the team? The list goes on.

The Unsportsmanlike trio are defending her by saying she didn't ask a question; she made a statement, and he walked out before she could follow up. Silly argument. Everyone knew what was coming next. Now the NFL is buying part of ESPN. How much are they to be trusted when it comes to journalistic integrity regarding the league moving forward?

All that aside, I seriously wonder if Tomlin is feeling well. He looks tired and run down. I hope his health is fine.

    Then there is that.

Some folks have E-t-h-i-c-s. Generally, you ask questions around the game, what went right what went wrong.
You don't go into the locker room and stick a mic in front a player after a tough loss and ask 'how come you sucked?'
There is the season close interview, the exit interview. There it is fair game.
The 'Karen's' that think anything is on the table ruin a lot because they assign an over inflated sense of importantance to themselves and anoint themselves as experts and have sense of respect.

You can hate Tomlin till the cows come home. That's fine.
Decorum may not be your strong suit. That's fine. You're not in the profession.
You may even be spot on that Tomlin's days are over.. they might well be.
But I was always brought up with some respect, so I don't piss and crap in the bed I slept in last night.

She is free to ask the question and he is free to walk off stage.

How many players or coaches address their future or retirement plans at the post-game presser of a playoff loss?

Yeah! It can't be because we played a really good Bills team and their pro bowl QB in their own house with a depleted defense and a 3rd string QB.
As someone else already pointed out, sometimes their players are just better than yours.

Maybe Tomlin should have stuck to, "I'm just here so I don't get fined"

The media was out of questions, there was a pause and the anything else question, another pause and then that question. It makes sense that he walked out at that point. Probably would have addressed it differently earlier in the press conference. Doesn't really bother me though, wasn't really the forum for it. Tomlin has an end of season press conference in a couple days. Better spot for it.

Is anyone familiar with the question asker's body of work?

Nick Siriani probably hasn't been asked this question and I agree he did a nice job.
    Philadelphia is a tough mob.
Tomlin has told these guys, and Boyd, a 1000 times; it is about the game.

Paint it as you will. I don't work that way.
I will continue to frame it as classless.

    1. Steelers failed to prepare for life after Big Ben
    2. The roster building under Tomlin has been suspect at best
    3. Failed to adjust in game

If he did not want to address this issue, then why did he leak it to press a week ago?
Cant leak it and then not address the question. Just do a Bill Belicheat.....I am still under contract until you leave or fired.

I hadn’t saw where it was reported that he leaked it to the press. Can you share the link?
