Tomlin is exactly who we thought he was. A regular season champion and a playoff loser.

I mean, to be fair, Mason literally played no worse than the average losing output of Ben in playoff games in the Tomlin era. I guess no one remembers when he tossed three picks in one game, and lost to a bunch of no-name QBs who were out of the league in a few years in others - but we're supposed to pretend now that Mason's efforts against one of the best teams in the NFL, including arguably its best QB, are "backup" tier, at best?

    Come on, now.

I don't ever call someone stupid for their opinion. This is a message board and it's about free speech and free opinion. We enjoy it because we have different opinions and we can come together and discuss and argue respectfully. I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish with your post. Does it make you feel good? Does it make you feel more powerful by disrespecting someone that you don't have to face? Your post is the worst that the internet has to offer. Saying things that no one would ever say if the person was sitting across from them. Do better!

    Lol. Mark my words.

Tomlin will 100% be the Head Coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024.

Tomlin isn't going anywhere. I would be willing to bet Faulkner is back as OC as well.

During the broadcast the announcers said it. They were guessing he'd be back

The problem is when you look around the league, most teams have a QB that's better than Rudolph. In the AFC, for example, maybe NE would have some interest, but they are going to probably draft one in the first round. Other than the Steelers, there isn't another team in the AFC. Might be a couple in the NFC, but they'll probably draft one also. If a team starts next year with Rudolph as their starter, it's because they screwed up in the off-season, and I include the Steelers in that statement.

Tomlin might have to add a room onto his house for all the participation trophies he's been racking up. Quite an impressive collection!

Mason got them to mid field. Steelers punter failed to pin the Bills deep. The defense immediately gave up a TD. Mason threw a first down pass 14 fumbled the ball for no reason and gave the defense a short field. The defense immediately gave up a TD and it’s 14-0. Did Mason play great no he played average. The rest of the team played like crap.

A couple of things we came out and wanted to establish the run they knew it and we stubbornly held to it. After the firs series I thought man we gotta throw to set up pass. Players made mental mistakes, the Pickens fumble was huge and not smart ball trying to stretch there. That was a huge momentum swing and put us in the hole 14-0 and increased the pucker factor on our players. Then on the series where we kicked the FG I thought we played scared and wanted points at all costs as soon as we got within range and went turtle ball and ran conservatively up the middle twice. No doubt about it Tomlin was afraid of another turnover after the pick and wanted to ensure the FG. It felt like we were playing for the FG first in that situation vs really trying to move the chains. We needed 7 there!! On the pick we were at the four and didn't run it which seemed crazy to not even run it once.

I felt like they made a game plan for a windy day. Then the game was delayed the weather changed and they kept the same dumb plan.
