Time for some serious changes w/all 3 levels of the defense. Need youth up front with a motor on stopping the run, corners that can actually cover, and getting to the QB!

The offense is totally different story. Need to solidify a QB that can actually play the position, i.e,. make all the throwsetc..., especially when things breakdown. Dionte is jeckle & Hyde when catching the football (too many drops).

    Coaching front:
Tomlin needs to get this team on the same page and play more consistent fb on both sides of the ball! The STANDARD is not playing .500 football. He has underachieved with some good teams i.e., lost to the Jaguars led by Blake Bortles, c'mon, you kidding me? We had the Killer B's! Get an OC in here that has a modern & creative package of plays that will enhance the talents and abilities of our skilled backs & receivers!

Green Bay winning moved us up one slot on draft day. Does the TB/Phi game matter? I assume we draft ahead of TB since they were division winner.

    Nope.

Tampa Bay may have won the NFC South but the Steelers have the better record.

As a result?! Pittsburgh picks shortly after Tampa Bay.

    Agreed.

Let us see what they can do. Philly has been reeling but who knows?! Playoffs have been nothing short of crazy this season thus far; doubly so with CJ Stroud.

I think Mason walks and Trubisky is cut.

Kenny will be the guy next year for better or worse.

    Agreed on Kenny.

That said, do whatever it takes to resign Mason.

Yes I think Mason's performance at the end of the season and seeing how important back-ups were this year around the league will grant him a contract somewhere else.

Where does Mason go exactly??? He'll be going into his 7th season in the league next season and hasn't played 25 games yet as a starter. Exactly which team is going to invest in him to be there starter???

    See Rich Gannon's Bio.

After Gannon did the same thing in coming off the bench for Kansas City in his 11th year, the Raiders brought him in to be their season starting QB, for the 1st time in his career. 2 years later league MVP.

Mason looks like he belongs in the pocket, you just need a new OC to build an offense around his vertical passing game.

‘Steelers won’t sign Rudolph because it immediately causes a QB controversy since Kenny will be the starter but Rudolph is better.

‘the second Kenny messes up, the fans and media will start calling for Rudolph. Steelers will avoid the controversy at all costs.

Fans will do that no matter who the BU is. Except maybe if it’s Trubisky.

Massively disagree. Fans will give Pickett a decent chance if the backup is a late draft pick or Josh Dobbs type of a QB.

Fans will go nuts if the back up is Rudolph especially if Pickett struggles.

Really??? The same fans that have absolutely been destroying him? The first game he doesn’t throw a TD or doesn’t see an open receiver or spins out of the pocket there will be loud chants to bench him. Gotta be freaking kidding me.

The kid is massively talented. He excels on timing balls since he is about as good of a route runner the league has to offer... Unfortunately timing and reads have been a struggle for our starting QB. Its not much of a shock that our WR's started producing the way that they should have all year once the "in-plan" stuff gets executed properly.

This is true. With 24 starts under his belt, the leash has to be super short. There isn't going to be a lot of appetite for the fans to put up with too much more "Kenny Ball".

Half a season. Half a season and if the same glaring issues are taking place, pull the plug.
