Moved to Monday

Well take the Ravens on a short week, we ready to stop the Bills!


T’was gonna hunt on Monday, so I may miss beginning of the game. I’ll catch up and join GDT.

If it’s moved to Tuesday, I feel a migraine coming, won’t be able to go to work.

Friday on Dan Patrick there was talk of potentially moving the game to Cleveland, which logistically could have been done, but in time for both teams to move, get the stadium in operation, etc. its a bummer for sure, but having lived and grown up in that lake effect region, when it gets bad it is indeed unsafe to be out in it.

I see it different. The governor is thinking what can I do to give the Bills the best chance of winning.

 

So Sunday at 1:00 will the NFL be showing a replay of the KC Fins game for those of us who refuse to pay for Peacock??

With the expected snow downfall and gale wind gusts on Sunday, I don't know how much of the field would be visible to TV cameras.

I remember one trip coming from Pittsburgh with conditions like that, where I could barely see the tail lights of the truck I was following (or the tire tracks on the road).
But literally after crossing the Ohio border, no snow on the ground or in the air. Easy driving the rest of the trip.

I'm guessing most people don't appreciate how bad lake-effect from both Erie and Ontario can get, for the region from Erie to Buffalo.
Also that Orchard Park is to the SW of Buffalo. They are predicted to get 4" more snow than Buffalo today-tomorrow.

 

if they had a dome in Buffalo today, this game is still moved to Monday. There’s a driving ban there, so you can’t legally get there. You’ve heard the bit about public safety and first responders. But there’s another element, snow removal gets very complicated when hundreds or thousands of abandoned stranded cars clutter the highways.

 

I have meetings till 6 every Monday. I'll have to record it and tell everyone that if they want to continue to breathe, not to scream out any 'updates'.

You're right about EV, I drive an electric Hostler truck. But the battery only dies quickly if you use the heat, not when turned off.

Here is the worst news about that...., and being as superstitious, and neurotic as I am....I worry.....I drink Coffee every other day, and green tea in between, and the last 3 games We have played have all landed on My Green tea day....all of which have been wins.....this Sunday would have been My Green tea day....so a win, but Monday will be a Coffee day.....Now I'm worried. LoL
