When checking tomorrow's weather for the game, it's important to check on Orchard Park NY and not Buffalo. The forecasts are different.

Although it is just 13 miles south of downtown Buffalo, Orchard Park is usually much more affected by lake effect snowstorms. So the forecast for where the game will be played is worse than the forecast for "Buffalo."

Who knows what will happen? But this is what it says for the town the game will be played in:

    Sun 14 | Day
    25°
    87%
    WSW24 mph
Snow along with gusty winds at times. High around 25F. Winds WSW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 90%. Snow accumulating 3 to 5 inches. Heavier amounts in persistent snowbands.

Seriously I can drive home in sunshine and clear roads and when I cross the county line and turn up my road it’s a winter wonderland

I understand. Here in southwest VA where I live there’s an area called the Divides. As you’re driving along on one side of the Divides the weather might be fine and all of a sudden when you cross over you’re in the middle of a whiteout. And I’m talking about a quarter mile stretch of highway.

With the issues the Steelers have had with their jet this year, I wouldn't want to fly into that.

I’m assuming the team would still travel as planned otherwise they would be travel when the weather is worst and the travel ban

This would suck because they would just have to sit around I assume they would not be able to practice unless they can use the Bills indoor facility

Do they lose by default if they can't make it to the stadium by monday? lol

There must be a rule in the book to cover that.

I live where I-79 intersects I-80 and the I-80 snow belt is a real thing. Those of us on the 1-79 side always see cars that just got off of I-80 with snow piled up on their hoods while it is dry on our side.

I was driving across 80 one time in a snow storm and the truck in front of me seemed to be able to see so I tailgated him in a blizzard

Then he slowed down to get off at an exit and I went into the other lane

It was clear all the snow in my blizzard was blowing off the roof of the truck

    I’m an idiot

I remember once Andrew McCutchen of the Pirates got off the plane and kissed the ground. He said it was the scariest flight ever and Pro's fly a hell of a lot.

Very close…Abingdon. Yep, that Casino is a popular place. I’m not a gambler but dropped by there on my way back from an appointment one day just to check it out. I couldn’t believe how packed it was on an ordinary Thursday afternoon. I didn’t know there were so many gamblers out there, lol.

Oh yeah…I used to live and work in Bluefield and they get their share of snow for sure. Bluefield is known as America’s air conditioned city and any time the temp gets over 90 degrees the local Chamber serves up free lemonade to anybody who drops by.

George Pickens said he didn’t block traffic from going down the unplowed streets because he’s afraid he’d get injured.

My dad told me once that the best thing to do in a blinding snowstorm is get behind a truck and follow it. So one night I hadn’t had my license for very long and I was out cruising around when there came this terrible snowstorm with virtually no visibility. I was relieved to see a dump truck in front of me so I got behind it just as close as I safely could and followed it. We were going fairly slow and around what seemed like endless curvy roads but I was thankful that he was leading the way. Finally after about 30 minutes of following the guy he stopped his truck and got out to come back and talk to me. He asked what I was doing and I told him that I couldn’t see to drive it was snowing so hard so my dad told me to get in behind a truck and follow it under those conditions. I told him I’d like to keep following him if that’s okay and he said “that’s fine…but we’re finished clearing the Walmart parking lot and we’re heading to Lowe’s next”.:facepalm::lolol:

The good thing is that Allen is prone to doing stupid things that turn it over. I guess the jury is still out on the improved (3 games)Mason as far as throwing turnovers. Out and about,I haven't yet seen what the conditions will be on Monday.
