Uh no. If you read my post, then you'd know I said idk which EXACT ONE PERSON I would choose, but there are a couple of candidates that would be worth exploring. I then listed a decent number of candidates both with and without NFL HC experience that would potentially be worth interviewing.

And also no to the indefinite amount of time. I'd be willing to fire someone that pushes the team in a bad direction (top pick) pretty early into the tenure, and I'd also be willing to be patient with someone that struggled right away if the team was behind them and their message. It is hard to give an exact amount of time I would be willing to give someone when there are so many factors that change that opinion/position. My post wasn't as hard to understand as you managed to make it.

    1. So no, your first sentence shows a complete lack of understanding/comprehension of my post.
    2. Your second sentence is your prerogative. You don't have to like the names I listed. You are very obviously on the Tomlin or no one train and that is fine.
    3. Your last sentence is the real joke. You looped me in with another bucket of individuals altogether and then essentially hurled an insult. Which is weak, after you (either intentionally or unintentionally) failed to understand my post to begin with then used that as the basis of your insult. Whatever lol

Kenny has had 1 complete game without Canada and was able to put up over 400 yards of offense in that 1 game.

I still believe that Kenny was not allowed to read the defenses, and that Matt Canada was telling him who to throw the ball to on every play before the ball was snapped. It was amazing how many times under Canada that I never saw Kenny looking to the left, or right, or even downfield before deciding where to throw the ball too.

Keep Tomlin and Kenny, but please hire a new OC with his own game plan and playbook.

I wouldn’t mind Tomlin staying if they get a good OC and a new DC. Also they need to make a solid run for Mason. Who cares about Pickett.

Cincinnati and Seattle aren't lousy teams both finished with a winning record, and were in playoff contention the last few weeks of the season, if you win three straight games on the road those are good wins.

Tomlin's poor planning, scheming and coordinator hiring is WHY he has to scramble every year just to save his .500 record. I am glad you feel lucky to be mediocre. I don't. I want to see the Steelers feared again. It's been at least a decade since other teams dreaded drawing us in the playoffs. Tomlin is a goofball as far as X's and O's and game-planning. Other top coaches salivate drawing a Tomlin-coached team.

Okay, so there are worse coaches than Tomlin, but keeping him because we're scared to dream to be anything more than mediocre so we can avoid being completely awful is no way to be a fan. Super Bowl or bust. Mediocre is never remembered years later and the Steelers are quickly becoming forgettable thanks to Tomlin...just another ho-hum franchise.

If Rudolph is gone then they better bring in legit competition for Pickett. Winning by attrition won't cut it.

Unfortunately, Trubisky will most likely be on this team and Rudolph will be elsewhere. They need to look hard at a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick for a QB.

I don't think that this is a poll that can be answered correctly right now. Too many things up in the air to make an informed decision.

4 weeks ago, I would have been on the fence or at least accepting of a Tomlin departure. But right now, the Steelers are 10 and 7 and in the playoffs. If it is another one and done, it still hasn't been a horrible year. Our play's been terrible, but we're five and one in arguably the toughest division. We're 10 and 7 overall. We've dealt with an incompetent offensive coordinator and we released him in mid-season. And despite all that, we're sitting at 10 and 7. I don't know what happened for those two games that shall not be mentioned, or maybe I do. To give it a name I guess we can go with Mitch. But against the way the Steelers are playing right now, if we got to do over on those two games we would be 12 and 5.

When I think about all those factors, I don't think you can give an honest opinion right now. What if you say fire Tomlin and we end up going to the super bowl? If we manage to get past the bills this weekend, it's really not out of the realm of possible. The Ravens are undoubtedly the best team in our conference. The bills are probably a close second as they seem to have been ascending at the right time. However the Steelers and the Ravens is always a competitive game.

The poll options were intended. I wanted to see if there was a correlation between people who specifically want Tomlin fired and wanting to keep Pickett as QB1. To my surprise, that is not the case. Most want a complete reset. Interesting.

    Option 2#.

I had hopes for KP after last years showing in the 2nd half but I just don't see a franchise QB in there, I don't think anyone does. But he should get a chance to compete for the job. Unfortunately, all the top QB's will be long gone again when we draft, as per usual.

Mike Tomlin? 17 years - and still always the last to know, Mr. "Dollar short and a day late". I've seen enough, I've coped and hoped my way around MT's inadequacies and failures for too long, and that three game stretch was enough to get a coach fired IMO.

Yet again he has underperformed badly and somehow got into the playoffs, owing to KP getting injured and then very belatedly benching Trubisky (never should have been brought back) and lucking into a Mason Rudolph that no-one saw coming.

Tomlin just doesn't react and act fast enough in today's NFL.

Complain that the Steelers have been in the upper-middle of the pack 4 of the last 5 years...fine. Complain that they haven't won a playoff game in 7 years...fine. But please, please...PLEASE stop pretending Coach Tomlin, the players, the brass, or fans who like Mike are just focussed on a "winning season." That's just silly and it diminishes your argument.

I'm hoping Tomlin sails off into the sunset getting on with his life's work.

As far as Pickett he should not be handed the starting position in 2024. He needs to compete. Simple as that.

And I do believe that Mason will be getting a nice pay raise and there are no guarantees he will be a Steeler. His agent will want to get the most out of any team even as a #2.

They werent all on the road, Cincinnati was at home , Seattle and Baltimore were on the road. 2 were against horrible defenses ( Cincinnati and Seattle and one was against Baltimore's 2nd teamers. )

It won't be much of a competition if Mason is still here. Mason is better than Kenny will ever be. At best Kenny could be a decent game manager, but Mason can do that, and can make big plays too

Or in fewer words, anybody but Tomlin.

I understand you perfectly. You want anybody but Tomlin and you’d show that person patience that you refuse to show Tomlin. The team is still behind Tomlin and his message. He’s not even struggling, yet you’re saying that he should be fired. You’d rather take a gamble on some unproven coach with no head coaching experience or some recycled name who’s already failed with some other team. At tossing out names like Vrabel, Quinn and Schwartz. The fact that you’d want those guys over Tomlin proves that the bias against him is personal. If Tomlin isn’t good enough then how are those guys good enough when they haven’t been as good as Tomlin? Rhetorical question.

1)I don’t think that smart enough to comprehend what you’re saying from your own mouth.

2)I was a Steelers fan long before Tomlin was the coach and will be after he isn’t the coach. So it’s not him or no one else. My issue with Tomlin haters is that y’all have personal biases against the man that really don’t have anything to do with football but to hide those biases you throw out these stupid football opinions that really are insult to other people’s intelligence. Firing Tomlin to replace him with Vrabel, Quinn, or Schwartz would be idiotic. Downright stupid.

3)Many of you are a joke. I have to just laugh at the stupidity. You actually said that you’d be cool with firing Tomlin and replacing him with someone like Jim Schwartz. The guy that went 29-51 with 4/5 losing seasons in Detroit. It’s hilarious.
How have The Steelers won 10 or more games in 10 of Tomlin’s 17 years, if he has to scramble every year to get to .500?

^^^^This is the another example of how stupid the Tomlin haters are though. Tomlin is a poor plannner who’s a “goofball when it comes to Xs and Os”.

The fact that you can even post nonsense like this with no push back is crazy.

Tomlin gets on with his life’s work.

We hire Bobby Slowik, the Texans OC, as our new head coach (I realize he’s only been an OC for one season but has done wonders with C.J. Stroud and the Texans offense. Tomlin had only been a DC for one season when he was hired).

Mason goes into the season as QB1 but the door is open for Kenny to win the job back!

You can’t judge a QB in two years look at Rudolph. So far it’s not looking good. Tomlin sucks by the way.
