In an absolute freefall. I wouldn't be surprised if Sirianni is fired after they get toasted in 1st round of playoffs. They are the team every NFC team wants to pkay right now.

As an Eagle hater I'd like to say. Brotherly Shove It up your...!

I don’t know that I’ve seen a team fall so far so fast late in the season without massive injuries.

Maybe the 2020 steelers but the eagles are way more unexpected

*gasp… you just restored a traumatic memory to my consciousness. Thanks!

I agree, the expectations of this year’s Eagles of this year were higher than the 2020 Steelers ever had.

E Girs went down at the end of the season, but I wouldn't want to face them in the playoffs. A little adversity sometimes brings out the best in teams.

Things are bad over there. The punter can't even execute a proper flop.

It's so odd. They had some issues at the beginning of the season, but they were winning despite those issues. They weren't winning ugly either. They were inconsistent, but they always seemed to be able to just turn it on when needed to win the game. I figured they would get the wrinkles ironed out and dominate. It went the other way. They can't even turn it on at all anymore. So much talent there, I just don't get it.

I do think part of it is they lost both coordinators.

I think we won 1 game after starting 11-0. Think Eagles slide started when they were 10-1?

Crazy part is, a whole lot of people were talking about how the Eagles knew how to run a franchise in today's NFL, and the Steelers should pay attention. LoL. Those people aren't talking so loud right now.

Much shorter leash in Philly. They fire head coaches who miss the postseason or go 1 and done year after year. There isn't a HC in the league who could have survived what Tomlin has over the past 7 seasons of not producing postseason wins. Tomlin would have been fired based on the past 7 seasons performance at 31 other teams

That may be stretching it, but not by much. Every owner or ownership group is different, and the Rooney's have been pretty stoic in how they do things, but on the other side you have a guy like Jerry Jones, great confidence he gave Mcarthy on an interview this week, lol. Basically he said we will see if he still has a job if they lose.

And they have how many SB wins, and We have how many SB wins, and We should do what they do???
Just Me, but I don't try emulating people, or things that don't do as well as I do. If You want the Steelers to emulate something....at least be it something that is better.....or is playoff win more important than SB wins???

Honestly i like owners who let the people they hire run things, I prefer Art having his post season and preseason presser with Missy Matthews and not hearing much from him the rest of the year, if he appeared on a weekly podcast like Jerry I would pull my hair out. I think the pride we have is what gets most of us belly aching when things have been so mediocre, but in truth I perfer to ***** a bit than have a continual crap show that Washington had, or Carolina currently has,

It’s funny how quickly things change in the NFL. Last offseason Roseman was being hailed as a mastermind for his team building and roster management, to the point where other front office staffs around the league were reportedly getting annoyed. I dont hear anyone praising him now. Their very expensive secondary can’t cover anybody and virtually every offseason move they made last year looks like a mistake.

There is no doubt Roseman is one of the best in the game and they will be back but it just goes to show how difficult it is to sustain success.

Even though our guys lost I'm a happy boy. I won't have to hear any crap today.

I always tell young people who get so upset when their team doesn't win it all, "Pick a city and root against it, you'll have more good years."

Last year I was sure I was going to suffer through a WS parade and a SB parade (their soccer team lost Championship too) but all those who got cocky with me had to suffer.
