If Glazer is speaking on this then I'm finding some truth in it. Won't hold my breath either way. Just going to enjoy this post season and sees what happens.

Hey, if that is what he wants... that's fine. He's coached here forever and I am sure its a super mentally taxing job to have. If he does move on, I am sure the Steelers will find someone great to replace him. They always have.

    Glazer reported it first yesterday.

Its quite possible. You have to figure Mike Tomlin has been doing this coaching thing at some level since 23-24 years old.
He's been doing it on an NFL level over 20 years.

So I could imagine the burnout could be quite real just like it was with Bill Cowher.

So still more possible that he walks away resigns than actually gets fired.

Mike Tomlin "could" take time off
    It's his choice

All a bunch of nothing comments. Is this what is considered reporting these days?

A lot of things could happen. If Tomlin doesn't get fired, of course it's his choice if he takes time off. Any one of us can quit our job at any time.

I thought Dungy or someone like that mentioned he was committed to staying and fixing the offense.

That would make Glazers earlier report about Tomlin hooking up with Washington seem more probable.

Who knows but what I heard is that she is interested
In a large black women population to further her career, plus I believe their
daughter is a student in the DC area. This is speculation not facts.

I can't imagine him walking with only needing like 20 more wins to be most for steelers history.

That has been a done deal for a while. I hope Rooney insists on a trade rather than just letting Tomlin walk. Obviously, any chance of the Steelers firing him ended with the three-game winning streak that got them back into the playoffs.

You would think he would walk away. The guy was a great coach for many year here and took us to the Super Bowl twice and never had a bad season. And in return, he gets ridiculed and demeaned by a bunch of ingrates on the computer in their mom’s basement. He should walk away and pick from about 10 teams that will offer him to be the highest paid coach in the league. Then we can hire Matt Patricia or McDaniels and make all the idiot trolls here happy. It’s really sad the way the fans here treat people, you definitely would not want them in you’re foxhole.

I’m glad he had another winning season and am happy that he got them to the playoffs but if he lays another egg in the post season Sunday I will help him pack.

They have to go to Buffalo and defend Josh Allen with a broken defense. I would hardly lay it on the coach if that goes poorly.

Gee if they give up another 99 yard TD pass I guess I’ll blame the equipment manager.

He better not go after Mason. That would pass me off to never wanting to think as him as even winning a ring.

Simply because he set on Mason for years. And even brought in idiot mitch saying he would be better.
