I live in a college town and see all kinds of college girls wearing Travis Kelce jerseys around town. They probably never watched a football game in their life until this year.

A Steelers or Pens podcast, I think. They always give their handles and say on X, formerly Twitter now they say Xitter pronounced, well.

It is for me now and I want to pay for different services. I'm lazy and would rather pay a fair price and give me the content. But they keep gouging and and pissing me off more and more with their practices.

Just recently I signed up for the top Peacock plan with no ads. At least thats what I thought 12 bucks a month would get me. But right off the bat, there were ads. WTF!!! Clicked unsubscribe and off to download whatever series I want to watch.

Plus more excuse to use Plex love how it organizes all my free content.

This is an an experiment by the NFL to see if a pay-per-view playoff format will work. When the answer is yes, it will be tiered to increase in cost for each round, the Superbowl being the top tier, obviously.
If people are willing to pay for the product, why give it away?

As far as older people who won't spend the money, the NFL doesn't need you anymore, GTFO.
Right, wrong or indifferent, that's where it's headed.

I disagree. Old people run the world. They Vote and they watch commercials.

As for Peacock, To me this is NBC seeing what they can get away with.

Today's youth are tomorrow's old people, who don't vote or watch commercials. You're thinking like an old person.
Your last sentence agrees with me 100%.

I have it but there is a 30 second lag or so with any streaming option compared to cable.

I think people are forgetting that these companies are in business to make money. You can call it greed all you want.
It sucks, but people over 80 aren’t really the age group that advertisers are going for. They’re not spending money on most of the products being advertised.
It’s best to try to keep up with technology the best you can. Otherwise you end up some old ass who can’t do anything.

i’ll admit, I was a little skeptical of streaming at first myself, but my son talked it up so much that I figured. Hey, things are heading that way might as well. Get on board now. It’s worked out great the last couple years.

no more stupid cable wires or HDMI cables to run.

Then, I’ll have to make a tough decision. This is life. Just cause you want. It doesn’t mean you can always have it all comes down to how important something this team. If it is, he usually find a way to make it happen.

Swifty Nation is going to be pissed off that they have to pay to see Taylor gabbing with Mama Kelce in the lux suite.

I have two kids in college, they get these services at a huge discount. That's why I have these services, I might as well get some benefit for paying their tuition.

Dude I'm a Comcast Xfinity person. I assumed if you got NBC you get Peacock. I do for free but I now know they will be charging for it soon. I've had it for free since it's inception and it is very reliable. I watch the Golf before it comes on regular channels.

Another thing I like about it is when you watch a movie they will slam you with say 4-5 minutes of ads to start but that is all. Movie is ad free after that.

When satellite TV first became available in Portugal (parabolic TV) the commercials were in blocks between TV shows. The movies on tv had a single intermission for the commercials. It was perfect.
