Too true. Part of my school years were spent in the Disco era. Although I think Get Down Tonight by KC & The Sunshine Band is still a bad ass jam. Great bass line.

3 games is just under 20% of the season . The Steelers won out. Those 3 games controlled their destination.The other teams in contention had those same 3 games. They fell short. Not backing in imo.

I guess it depends on your definition of the term 'backing in'.
Needing help, backing in, not controlling their destination, hoping fora win a loss and a tie, are all the same thing in the finish.

 

I look at backing in as stumbling in or playing poorly in and getting bailed out. That's where we differ I guess.

Can you or someone give me the definition of the term 'backing into the playoffs', and or an example of a team who did it.

I read above that any team that doesn't go undefeated backs in, I'm confused.
