Always excuses. Sound like a Rats fan.

 

A few somewhat random thoughts-

The Titans have played much better at home this year. This is probably the last home game f0r Henry, Tannehill, and maybe even Vrabel. The Jags have been bad the past month aside from a good defensive performance against an awful Carolina team.

There is always what I call the Bills factor. Look at their franchise history and you will see what I mean- constant tragic losses at crucial times. This franchise has found some incredibly contrived ways to lose big games over the years.

 

The football gods were with us early in the season for several close games we could have easily lost. I hope they are still with us and this was all part of their plan to build character.

 

The Bills offense did not look good for sure.

That reminds me of the people who do toes and nails. Their religion tells them to put a perfectly ready to eat chicken at the door for an offering. I had 3 on my route and all 3 did it when opening new store. I wanted to eat the damn thing it looked and smelled so good.

 

If there were football gods and they were just, TJ Watt wouldn’t have been injured on such a fluke of a play last night. Now I’m reading it is a torn MCL, so he is out for weeks.

 

It would be nice to get in, but the Steeers aren’t beating the Dolphins, Bills, or Chiefs without Watt.

I dont want to start any blasphemous rumors but I think that God's got a sick sense of humor and when I die, I expect to hear him laughing.

 

it's easy to say we blew a few games we should have won - but first game against Ravens it was more like Ravens blowing it than Steelers beating them.....Ravens had so many dropped balls, including an easy TD. Sure we lost some we should not have - but we also won some we should not have.

 

Why are You complaining???
Is this record not exactly what You said it would be...as many of us thought??? 10 wins. Who ever in there right minds would think going 5-1 in your division, and 10-7 overall would maybe keep us out of the playoffs???

 

I'm pissed because I had 9-8 and got bounced from the prediction poll. LOL

So what???
We had a dropped td in that game. Drops happen., and one of those so called dropped tds was because of a $hit pass. Does this excuse the 7-1 record the Ravens have against the Steelers in the last 8 games???

 

Am I your argument of the hour? I feel honored. the past 8 games or the past 100 games or whatever the number you want to use doesn't matter. the comment was about THIS season - and people playing shoulda woulda couldav and all I was saying that it works BOTH ways. Just like Steelers fans are saying - how the hell did we lose to this team or that team.....there are teams saying - how the hell did we lose to the Steelers - especially the first 3/4 of the season.

and if the Ravens' converted on just ONE of those missed tds it would have been 14-0 and you are going to say we come back from a 14-0 deficit?

I got a lot of agrees at start of season suggesting 10 wins gets us in.

 

Add 5-1 in your own division....most would say you'd be in easily.
