I'm not sure how you can stick up for him at this point. He's shown a serious inability to play QB at an NFL level. He misses simple passes. He's incapable of throwing downfield with any touch. He locks onto 1 receiver and struggles to make progression reads. In 2 seasons he's had 1 multi touchdown game. 13 touchdowns in 25 games. Thats beyond pathetic. I never want to see him under center for the Steelers again.
