Anybody got this stat or want to discuss history of it?

I yard sailed it skiing one time on rock solid snow and got hairline fractures in the same shoulder that needs attention currently. This was shortly after my buddy passed. The Doctor prescribed 60 pain pills and when I went back a month later for a follow up he asked if I needed more. I told him no I had 53 left. He said you’re not taking them and I explained I will deal the pain. He said most of his patients come in begging for them.

 

I suppose it depends on how invasive the surgery is but I can tell you this, if I had skipped the pain pills after the nerve blocker wore off, I would have been in a world of hurt. Hard to rehab a knee when you're focused on how painful it is.
The other three surgeries on the same knee were a cakewalk compared to the total knee.
