To you there's only 16 coaches out of 524 that have ever been good. Even the other 19 were not even good enough that elm superbowls.

I agree with what you said, minus the insults.

But yeah, there's a people here who just want to hate for the sake of hating Tomlin. For instance QB1 saying Tomlin should only be judged with coaches who only won single superbowls. Which he fails is only 19 coaches. While only 16 coaches have 2+. And he fails to understand there's been 524 coaches hired. With that being 6.6%.

They don't want to hear statistics. They just want to be like a flat earther with, "nuh uh".

There's is a couple of people who replied with displeasure of recent post season failure. But they congratulate Tomlin for what he did in the past. Nor do they say he's a bad coach.

Khan strikes me as that type of person. Maybe he will start infusing that into the team more. Probably have to wait for a new coach, I doubt Tomlin would buy into that, he seems more like a go from the gut type coach.

Chuck Noll won nothing for 12 years, Bill Cowher won nothing for 13 years, what's your point?

That its time to move on... The standard and expectations that all 3 have created isn't being met; therefore, it's time to move on.

People here have no qualms with insulting Tomlin, players, the owner, and other fans. I notice when you give some of that same energy back, folk get sensitive. That’s the internet though.

What fans are pleasured by post season failures? That goes without saying.

People who understand that Tomlin is a great coach aren’t the ones constantly discrediting him while yammering for him to be fired.

Y'all have ran this idiotic talking point into the ground. The franchise has 6 rings. 4/6 came in a 6 year period over 40 years ago. Outside of that 6-7 year run(in a league with no free agency), the team has 2 rings in 80+ years. What “standard” are you talking about?

No franchise is always in championship contention, or always winning playoff games, or even always in the playoffs. There’s too much parity in the league. It’s too hard to maintain teams. Before the Steel Curtain dynasty, the Steelers were actually the lovable losers of the nfl. This “the standard isn’t being met” stuff is y’all talking just to have something to say.

Many just don’t comprehend how hard it is to win in the nfl. Even when it’s explained folk don’t get it. Even when you show them history while giving them empirical evidence, you don’t get it. It’s funny and sad.

He is great at word salad, cliché's and um's.

He is a decent coach who fell into a perfect situation. Then let it faulter.

Personally I want him gone but it won't happen. Art II will extend him.

Just hoping that Khan, Weidl and Art II can bring in an innovative offensive coordinator. And a defensive coordinator who has a say. This is the way that Tomlin started his career having less responsibility and being more of a head coach.

I didn’t want to go there, but I don’t understand why some fans would just “dislike” Tomlin due to some sort of hidden agenda or motive. I’d rather not infer that someone is labeling a broad swath of the message board (and fan base) as racists. The reality is that the vast majority of fans who want Tomlin gone don’t believe that he’s the right coach for the team going forward for a variety of reasons and due to a number of frustrations as fans. Some are reasonable, and some aren’t. Some approach the discussion in a logical manner and some are crass and/or obnoxious about it. However I’m not seeing hidden motives and agendas there, at least not with the vast majority.

But maybe you and I both just have poor reading comprehension. I did just finish “Curious George Goes Fishing” though, and I think I picked up on all of the subplots, so I’m feeling pretty good about my reading comprehension these days.

If I had to read that damn story one more time I was burning it. Curious George was enjoyed by the very young in family. Made me wish humans came out of the womb with the ability to read;)

To each their own I guess. I definitely wasn’t try to spark any discussion on that particular issue.
Tomlin needs to go just cause he needs to go. There doesn’t have to be some hidden agenda.

Unless those grandkids are from the San Diego/L.A. area. Then their grandfathers will tell them, "Chargers who??" "Oh, yeah, they lucked in to a SB once. Got their asses kicked!!" "They even fired their coach after going 14-2! Imagine!"
