Congrats Coach Tomlin on 17 years of non losing seasons

The non-losing seasons thing doesn't matter to me, I just posted the thread because I know it pisses some fans off .

 

interesting So you're not really interested in how the steelers did just wanted to get people mad. You have an interesting way to interact with people

 

yeah and winning one of these playoff games might be a good thing to. but I digress......

 

We had our playoff lives in our own hands. Then we proceeded to lose to the
1. The Arizona Cardinals
2. The New England Patriots
3. The Baltimore colts.

Three games that had we won two of them we would be in. But nope. Steelers folded against two teams way under .500 and now we need a lot of help to get in. Yeah another Tomlin year. So we have to beat the Ravens and hope other teams lose. Yeah we love Tomlin

 

Of course I want the team to win, but when you have some fans wanting the team to lose just because they don't like the coach, yeah they're going to hear about it from me .

If we make the playoffs it will be another skin of the teeth nail biting scenario that did not need to happen that way. For the life of me I can’t figure out why MT’s teams can lay so many eggs and still be in the thick of it all near the end. Imagine if they could just beat the teams they are favored against. I hope they make the playoffs and they win at least one game. Tomlin will always drive me crazy no matter what though.

It would be useful and interesting if @Rel would actually constructively state what exactly it is that he disagrees with. It seems lazy and lame to knock down someone's positive ratings when you don't have any contributions to the conversations, but that's what you do 90% of the time

That's the standard now, hope someone else does our job for us. Love to see our team win, yesterday and I was pumped for Mason, could care less about the streak if it doesn't produce playoff success. As Patton said "Americans love a winner and will not tolerate a loser. Americans play to win all the time. I wouldn't give a hoot in hell for a man who lost, and laughed." On to the Birds and then lets hope in the offseason the brain trust doesn't f&ck it up!!

They lost those games because Trubisky sucks, and all the injuries to the back seven, Tomlin deserves criticism for sticking with Trubisky too long.

In the context of the OP congratulating Tomlin on no losing seasons for 17 years, my comment was in regard to our old standard of trying to win Super Bowls in the past vs now just striving to be .500 or better.

 

Would you like a list of the first round qbs the last ten years that never had a winning season? or only 1? At least we didn't trade a **** ton of future picks for him. And fyi, Pickett is 14-10 in his career, two of those losses coming when he was injured early and Trubisky came in and crapped the bed. Trubisky, with the same team, is 2-5 without counting the Ravens last year (three interceptions in the red zone in a 3 point loss) and Arizona this year.
