More accurately, they're soft.... the Dolphins are built for speed, but they have no answer when they're punched in the mouth

I don't want to hear excuses. We have the 2nd most injured players of any team this year, and are playing our 3rd Qb, and We aren't going to finish last....in a season when maybe 3 teams make it from our division.

So now You change what You said because You were wrong. You said how awesome they have been. Well I don't think a team that came in last place in the division 2 years ago could be considered awesome for so many years above us.

How mad are you going to be when Lamar wins the MVP and SB?

I won't be mad. I will be disappointed that they are changing the way they have always picked a MVP. Anytime a Qb has been chosen....He is either top one , or two...in overall yard, and , or TDs. The only time this hasn't happened is when the closest Qb had way way less wins, and that not what's happening. Lamar Jackson is 7th in total tds for a Qb, and 3 in total yards for a Qb, and they don't have a bunch more wins over the others.....so for Him to win the MVP would be moving the goal post. As long as people agree that they are moving the goal post for Him....I'm cool with it.

Our 3rd QB is the best QB on the steelers roster...And you are wrong for the injuries...They are not even in the top 2 in the AFC north in the injuries.

This tripe is getting really old. It’s not funny. It’s not inciteful. It’s not smart. It’s not anything. Please stop.

Tell that to ESPN, and CBS then....because they said so. I told You a long time ago Mason was the best on the roster, but like everything I tell You ....You laughed at...., and said I was wrong.....some day You may listen. It doesn't change that 3 Qb have played for us this year, and We still didn't become the bottom of the AFCN like the Ravens did that 2 years ago.

For the injuries, maybe you are right,it depend of the criteria but yes the ravens finish last in the division in 2021,but they also make the playoffs 5 times in the last 6 years since 2018.For the steelers it will be only 2 or 3 times they make the playoffs since that time

The floor for the steelers have never been the problem...This is the ceilling who is way too low

You were right on Rudolph,me and Tomlin was wrong

No...Rooney....the GM, and Tomlin were wrong for bringing in Trubisky. If they Don't bring in a higher paid FA....then Mason gets a chance at a real Qb competition 2 years ago, and last year, but like most team....when You draft a player 1st round, and You bringing in a higher paid FA at that same position.....the 3rd guy never gets a chance....unless injuries, and one starts playing so poorly they have to sit them. It's the same for most of the NFL.

It would have been better for me if I would have said the Steelers instead of Tomlin but Tomlin had a say in his decisions, same thing for Colbert(Pickett) and Khan(Trubisky)....So this is true that Tomlin was not the only one in this decision but he had his say

I can't even follow what you're saying anymore...

I said Ravens are tough SOBs like Steelers used to be before Tomlin. Then you said "but they came last two seasons ago". So then I said I rather have had Steelers come last in 2021 if that meant they are SB favorites in 2023.

Please please try to follow your own logic and the path you take in your arguments. Otherwise, it becomes impossible to have a discussion.

Again You leave off what you want....You say they have been crap under Tomlin....the same coach who has not only finished above them multiple times, but the coach that has won over them 6 out of the last 7 games, or does he only get credit when You decide He does....like only loses.

    Colorblind much?

And if you did notice the green font and decided to blast me for that sarcastic post because you don’t appreciate the sarcasm, that’s your problem and I don’t plan to stop anything.

My point, using sarcasm, is that the national media loves to sing Tomlin’s praises and go on and on and on about how wonderful he is because he’s never had a losing season and that if the Steelers part ways with him he’ll have a job in five minutes. Big freaking deal. When he starts fielding teams that make the post season and win in the post season when he does get there then I’ll help sing his praises too. Until then, the non-losing season streak is overblown and you might as well get used to sarcastic replies and eye rolls when it’s brought up.

Now that you know the point of my post, what was the point of yours other than to be provocative?

I knew exactly what your point was. You and 6342 other people have said it 17 times a day in here. It’s old and it’s meaningless. For many reasons. A primary one being… Neither Tomlin, nor any Steeler, or any fan thinks that the winning seasons thing is enough. Nobody wants to go 9-8. The national media has made something out of it, but neither Tomlin nor his players have. So get over it and stop pretending that’s what he’s trying to do. Finally, the reason the national media talks about it is because although it’s not the goal, it’s not a nothing burger. It is what it is. It’s something not a lot of coaches or franchises have done. So OK. It’s not the goal but it is a thing. Why is that So hard to understand?

That’s not at all hard to understand. The Steelers as an organization have gone 20 years without a losing season. That’s not insignificant but that’s not the goal either. And you show me, smart guy, where I’ve ever said that Tomlin has made something of it. It’s the national sports media that makes a huge issue of it. But I know that players understand that they don’t want to be a part of a team that breaks that streak. Some of them have said that very thing in the past.

I happen to think, as do many others, that it’s overblown by the media. Tomlin would probably (hopefully) agree with that since the team he coaches has done absolutely nothing of note in the postseason for the last decade plus! And I’ve mentioned it on here before but I’m not obsessed with it. I think when you’re either not making the postseason or getting blown out when you do get there a “non-losing season” is a ridiculous benchmark. And if you don’t want to read the 6342 other posts about how that’s overblown, maybe you should go join the Mike Tomlin appreciation Message Board.

Doesn't change my opinion, if he had the mobility of Peyton Manning or brady, he'd be a back-up somewhere.

We’re all sick of Tomlin, but a lot of people are more sick of a handful of people that can’t talk about anything but Tomlin and the non losing season B.S.

I agree with this, no doubt when we lost those 3 games the team was hurting, even with that the play was horrendous, throw Mitch in and we got disaster.

There may be those who are obsessed with it but just because some others of us bring it up doesn’t mean that’s all we talk about. I brought it up with a sarcastic response to someone else’s comment about it and apparently a card carrying member of the Mike Tomlin fan club got offended. Hate that for him. There are many topics I discuss with others on this board and the Tomlin non-losing season mentions I have on this board are a drop in the ocean. I don’t disagree that some seem to be obsessed with that and all things anti-Tomlin though. Plenty of other interesting topics to discuss besides that.
